are you the same alex who lives in notts? if so you've been here for like forever (web dev yeah?) and i've never seen a pic of you... anyway!
i reckon it needs cutting if you're to do anything with it so you're stuck imo. i'm no stylist or girl though...

it would look a lot better if you had it maybe a bit longer than shoulder length. you could do so much more with it.

Nooo don't listen to them :P as long as it's in good condition (1st pic's a bit blurry so can't tell and obv can't see it on 2nd) long hair can be fabulous on a girl. Personally I think it looks better up on you, but the outfit there's nicer so that might be swaying my vote.. anyway.
Short hair is often easier to restyle because obviously it can hold better and doesn't get all in the way etc., whilst longer hair often needs to look a bit more formal or it comes across as just messy. That said, you can make a prom haircut look casual by changing the outfit, so that's not a real problem. Couple of suggestions:

A side ponytail. Minimal effort, can go with literally any outfit that doesn't require a helmet, looks fab draped over the shoulder.

Straight and down with curled ends. Not sure how difficult this would be to do, but I assume you just need to get the lengths right and not curl too much/too little. Maybe one to save for nights out if it does take a while to set up.
Plenty of other options (beach look, wavy, accessorised, hell even a mohawk if you can find strong enough gel) so your best bet might be to surf around and see what takes your fancy from the celeb world, especially as long hair is popular at the moment - even if theirs isn't usually real :P

I absolutely love this hairstyle, its simple and looks really nice. if you cant see enough to know how to do it, simply search Jojo or Joanna Levesque on google and look up her hairstyles. she has a lot of really nice ones for long hair ;)
Dye it a nice blonde, not bleach.

You Could Try Something Like A Scene Hair It Would Look Good With How Long Your Hair Is :) Iv Recently Changed My Hair Here's A Pic Of My New Hair :)
I think it looks nice down, so I guess just make it a bit shorter?

You should get short layers for your hair, it will give it more volume

I think you would look very nice with a full fringe, and mid-length hair.
Then you can just style it how you want. Have side pony tails, bunches, up in a big clip, etc.
First off i would suggest getting it cut a teeny bit (maybe) as it will always grow back :) Maybe get your fringe to cover your forehead a bit more?
Then why don't you get some chunky low lights in your hair to break it up a bit and maybe get it layered a bit.
You could maybe have it a bit wavy/curly but not crappy wavy otherwise it looks trampy. :)
As from the pictures i dunno if its layered or anything so :)
