Thinking about having a studio next year to record. Just wondering what microphones you recommend. I would personally like an autotuner on it so I can add some effects onto it. Also so it blocks out any surrounding sound.

Thanks.

Please can you give me links from this site http://www.dv247.com/ or any cheaper places :) thanks.

Well if your looking for a good USB mic, I just bought this one and I'm very happy with it considering the price. :) http://www.musicstore.com/en_EN/EUR/Recording/USB-microphones/Fame-Studio-CU1-USB-Kond.Mikrofon-Niere-elast.Halter-USB-Kabel/art-REC0004726-000
Its a condenser one so Its better for more acoustic stuff, if your gonna be recording electric guitars and stuff a dynamic mic would be better. I'm not sure if this is what your looking for, I'm a bit of a noob with this kinda stuff. As for the auto tuning you can always add that after when your editing your recordings, I usually use audacity.

im not sure if you can actually get mics that have auto tune built into them? you would have to get the mic and autotune is a seperate program. or if your looking for something cheaper than autotune and i find easier to use is melodyne. it does the same pitch correcting thing and its quite easy to use.

On the cheap, but still keeping quality up, the general "rule" is Shure SM58 for vocals, Shure SM57 for instruments (or a headless 58, same thing). If you have more money you should be looking at large diaphram condensor mics though.

Do ask if you need advice, I have about 4 years of experience doing live sound, I like to think I know quite a lot about it.
