who is getting really pissed off with all the politics talk on here?
No offence to anyone, but someone who is likely to be 15 with the UKIP, Labour etc logo in their sig really isn't going to change my opinion or judgements.
The arguments are never ending and people are so stubborn the 'debates' never go anywhere.

Political debate is exciting and rather thrilling for me, and you'd be surprised, most people who get involved in the political debate here (apart from a couple) are of voting age :)

I agree with Oli. It may bore you if you are 12-15 but it becomes very interesting when you get 16+.

Personally I don't care. People can have party logos and slogans in their signatures all they like but it doesn't influence me and shouldn't really influence anyone. If someone's going to vote I assume that they take more interest in their choice than simply looking at what people over the internet think. The most these sigs do is let me know where user's political opinions lie, which I assume is the main purpose rather than trying to sway voters.

For the record, I can vote.

lets all just vote labour...
That's kind of my point. Having that as your sig is a bit pathetic if you ask me.
I'm all up for discussions but it's getting like "my dad is better than you dad".

Maybe their intentions are not to change your opinions.

I agree that having political affilation in a signature on here is rather tiresome. Most people who engage in debate on here are under 18, but so what? Keeping kids stimulated and debating politics is good in my eyes.
Even if they support people with one eye ;)

im bored of hearing about it EVERYWHERE
i know its important and that but i really dont care who gets elected as long as they do a good job
i get some of it but mostly im just too dumb and lazy to try and understand half of it tbh.
i'll start worrying about that stuff when i get older and my opinion on it actually counts

I am not tired of the political talk, I'm on the other side of the pond :P
Although, when there's a federal election here I'm usually glued to the television and papers.

it might just be me, but whenever politicians say they promise to do something, they never seem to? OR they wait as long as possible before they do it..

I think to some people, who say voting is stupid I would have to say look at Mr Adolf Hitler. He was powerful and people voted for him, he was a bloody good speaker. Now people who voted for him imo were right to do so, and my argument always is if you don't vote when you are lega;lly allowed o you shouldn't complain about a party you don't like if they get in to power.
Anyway I enjoy the discussion, and it is one of the few things on this forum where you can really saw our view without being bombarded with -reps for giving it. Although I hink some people are being ludicrous, I would do ecause I don't have the same views as them. A good discussion is great, and is much more interesting than half the crap on here.

I'm abit in the middle, its all good debating about the election and what not but it never goes anywhere and always ends up with somebody saying how turd the party is your talking about or something and flaming you like there's no tomorrow.
Its actually boring me now, i'd rather talk about something else and actually watch what matters on tele with the political debates than talk about them on habboxforum.

the only reason people voted for hitler was because the nazi party promised they would recitfy all problems germany faced. if a party promises to lead the way out of a dire crisis ofc. theyre going to vote for them.
and politics talk really bores me sometimes, esp. when its a load of 14-18 year olds thinking they know the ins and outs of all the parties.

I'm not of the voting age but I take a huge interest in politics. I'm not sure why anyone should have a problem with that?

I agree to a certain extent, i don't like it when they take it too far & especially when they take it out of 'Current Affairs' and start using it in other forums

i don't open a thread when it mentions politics, nor if it mentions runescape/WoW or anything else i'm not interested in so it really doesn't bother me. again, same with avs and sigs, i dislike lady gaga but there's nothing i can do about it. anyway i'm not in to politics, i'd vote green party but my one vote wouldn't count:(

If you dont vote you have no right to complain..
It's interesting and having it in the sig is no different to having anything else, such as celebs. I really don't care if you like a certain celeb, yet some people still display it.

I actually don't mind it. It's good to see who other people are supporting and why they are doing so. Regardless the age restriction of voting, it's good to see under-age people showing they're ideas and thoughts on it. Maybe then they'll get a better understanding for when they are actually allowed to vote. With the whole 'supporting thing' people are obviously going to support who they want to win. It's like some people on the forum who like sport, support a certain team and have it all over they're signatures etc. It's just to get your point across of who you think should win really.

I don't really see the problem with it. There is a whole load of immaturity on here but if I sense a thread is about something I am disinterested in I won't open it. It's simple. There are older people on here and sometimes it's nice to discuss something with some substance, both with people of a similar age and those who are younger but are still interested in the topic. As for the signatures thing, why does it bother people.. I think it's just something else for people to moan about. Bit petty really.
i don't mind it because it encourages young people particpating in politics but most people on here are very narrow minded with their views and in the end it's pointless because uncontrolled debates lead to arguments, which get's very tiresome.
How about we all vote BNP then everyone's happy?

I agree with a few other people on here who say that they are annoyed with people who go 'I can't be bothered to vote, there's no point'. If that's the case then in no way do any of these people have the right to moan if a party brings in anything that they don't agree with. I have a friend who said she couldnt be bothered to vote and it annoyed me as the suffragetes gave everything as well as their own lives to give women the vote, so when a girl cba to vote, they might as well be sticking to fingers to those women who got them the votes faces. Just my opinion.
Anyway, I am getting kind of bored of it all. Only because the parties atm seem more concerned in bringing eachother down. Like someone said before me it's turning into a "my dad is better than your dad". However, seeing as it's my first time vote I'm trying to look at what the different parties are really trying to do, as whatever party gets in will affect our future.

I like this thread because to be honest all the talk of politics is boring, the fact is that everyone gets hyped up about who to vote for and why and then when whoever is elected, everyone starts to complain for the next four years its a joke.

Tbh who cares, people vote because of what that party is going to do with the country, not by someone puttin a sig or profile picture on a forum :|
