Inspiron 1545 [CPU + Crash Problems]

So I have just sold my laptop and in the process of buying one so im using my mums for the time being, this laptop really is ****!

CPU - Says "100%" after about 30 minutes use, everything slows down crashes.

Crash - Computer doesn't crash but the mouse lags, everything doesn't respond and it really is annoying.

- Dell Inspiron 1454
- 1GB Ram
- 2.20 GHz

Was aware when it crashed on runescape and died in PVP, so ******* annoying because I was smashing this cocky lad and he was like hahahah owned.

Get rid of vista and stick windows 7 on it, I have a very similar machine (inspiron 1520 I think) and 7 performs infinitely better than vista did. That should solve the majority of your problems providing your hardware isn't damaged :)

Agreed, Vista is so resource hungery, 7 will be much better
