View Full Version : Death
I know that's a scary title, but I've had so many scary experiences that's got me thinking am I actually afraid to die?
I got thinking and found that I'm actually not.
Death comes when it comes, I'm not afraid I'm just scared I'll be forgotten when I'm gone.
What about you guys?

Tbh when i were younger an watched terminator i used to dread a nuke explosion but now ive grown up i really couldnt care.
Death doesnt bother me which is why i live everyday as much as i can, I enjoy it an if i dont then i find new things to do etc like if i get a new job an i hate it ill quit after 2 days and move onto something better. Lifes to short to worry about things like death although when it comes to someone else dying then thats completely different cos i wouldnt know what to do without some of my m8s

im not scared of death
im scared of the pain death may bring (l)
I can't say I am scared of death as I type this, as I am not confronted by it right now. It is my aim to die with dignity (if possible) and thus I will attempt to minimise my fear at the time. I can quite safely say though, that as I come closer to death for whatever reason, I will begin to fear or dread it. It is not my desire to die, and I think it's quite ludicrous for the average person to say they won't fear death as it comes to them.

I'm scared like what will happen to us when we're gone :( Like now we see everything, what do we see when we die :'(

One that can admit all that will surely die with dignity :)
I'm not scared of death itself I'm scared of what's going to happen after it happens.

i'm not really scared about afterlife, i probably secured a spot in hell when i was like 14 so whatever
just scared of how i die (murder would be okay, more or less torture/being trapped somewhere that petrifies me), i'd probably welcome death if it wasn't tragic and just natural causes ;p

I don't really fear death as it's inevitable: I suppose I only fear the unknown and the uncertainty surrounding it. It's hard to imagine not existing.
I'm not scared of death and actually being dead, but I am scared that I might die in pain or having to suffer whilst I die

yeah im not scared of death itself but im scared of being murdered or drowning or burning to death or anything like that, or it being slow and painful.. id like to just die in my sleep one day or something like that lolll
im not really that bothered about "after life" if there is such a thing, obv ive thought about what could be there after im sure we all have but if its really bad it will be another bridge to cross and i'll just deal with it.
the thing im most scared about is leaving someone behind who will be really upset by my death. so far ive been lucky enough to not loose anyone close to me but these days will come and i fear them more than anything, and i cant begin to imagine how i would feel if say one of my parents died and i wouldnt like anyone to feel like that about me when ive gone ...

People that say they're not scared of dying will be scared when the time comes.
I'm scared of dying and happily admit it.

It's okay, brain function stops when you die so you won't know you're dead.
I'm not really scared of death, nor does it effect me really, it happens and you just have to get over it really, of course I'm not looking forward to it nor do I plan on it happening anytime soon and I don't really want to die in some sort of horribly painful way like being slowly crushed by a giant wood chipper or something but I'm not exactly gonna cry about getting cancer or something.

Same, if I know that I'm going to die I'm hardly going to cry about it, I'll just be satisfied to know that it's coming. It's a slight bit scarier when you think about dying suddenly, like in your sleep.

I'm not scared of dying in the slightest, like I said I don't want to die just yet but I know it will happen eventually so it really doesn't bother me, when it comes it comes, live life to the fullest even when you know you're not dying really.
And if the worlds of a comedian whos name escapes me.
"We're all gonna lie, we're all gonna die and we're all gonna take painful *****"

The thought of death is scary, but only because it is the unknown.
I guess you should just live how you want to live, and try not to think about it too much as death comes to everyone and it can't be stopped.
