So, Halo 4 on PS3 anyone?

Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 3 made by Bungie?

I think the reason they signed this deal is because they want to steer away from the Halo universe and make new games. They might make one, but I don't think Halo will be on the PS3 anytime soon.

Yeah I would assume it's for a new series, aren't 343 Studios taking over the Halo franchise?

10 Year deal for a new IP, Bungie will remain independent so all Activision is doing is publishing it, they cash in on the game but have no control over it, will not be CoD or Halo related, it chances are it'll be part of the halo universe but could be anything, it will probably only last 2 or 3 games at most as I can't imagine Bungie can push anymore than that in 10 years unless they're already in early development, hopefully sometime they'll go back and try and give us a sequel to Oni.

They won't be making anything to do with Halo because Microsoft still own the rights to anything that is Halo related. So no, we will not see Halo on the PS3, or any other Halo games made by Bungie. Any Halo games in the future will be coming from Microsoft.

Activision will just be like the producer/director, I think Bungie will make the actual games.

I haven't looked into it much.

In a sense, bungie have to get used to the ps3 first so that could delay time.

i have a feeling itll take them about 4 years to churn a decent game out multiplat seeing as they have no previous knowledge, we all know what happens to first time multiplat game or other..

Well... no. They signed it because it gave them more flexibility than their current contract with Microsoft. Half of the Bungie team is dealing with games put forward by Activision, and half are still focusing on present Bungie projects.
