I dunno wether to wait until it gets reduced to £30, £45 was bad enough once, not gonna be paying it again for another pile of maneure

Lucky I'm not getting it then. I normally spent a bit of my birthday money on the game, and £55 out of that is a huge amount. I'll pass.

RRP £55

Doesn't mean anything if you actually pay attention in stores, the game will likely sell in GAME for £40-45 on release.

Games are just so expensive, obviously I understand the money that goes into developing them, but £55 is just a stupid price. Double that and add a little bit more and you can get a whole new 360 Arcade, it's just madness.
Having said that, I'm sure supermarkets will my go to to get this, I got my friend who works in Sainsburys to reserve me a copy of MW2 so I paid the low price which was like £28? I'll most likely do the same

In a sense £55 is quite a fair price for the development of alot of games nowadays. However COD doesn't have much of a high development cost so it's not fair, that and they know it will sell at least a good 10 mil, especially considering it's ipad and that crap compatible, probs wii too.

I think it's appauling what they're doing here.

I remember when games were £20 when new and quickly reduced to £15 or £10. I know games take more to develop these days, but its a bigger industry now and they're taking an unfair advantage of it.

I won't be buying it at that price, unless I can get it for under £35 I will either not get it or i'll pirate it just to spit back in their faces.

I'm going to wait until its been out for a while before considering buying it. See if it's worth it (not like I did with mw2 and look how that turned out)

£55 for a game is mad but one of the supermarkets (like sainsburys for mw2) will surely have it at a reduced price again.

I think a lot of people will either stop buying it, or buy it when it's gone down in price. CoD games have gone up every year since it started :@

I swear this is exactly what everyone said about MW2 but everyone bought it anyway because it was being sold for much cheaper.

Yeah, MW2 was slated for like a £45 RRP I think, but all the big supermarkets put it down to around £30. I know people say that supermarkets 'steal' sales from the more specialist stores for books and music and games and stuff, but who seriously went into a Game store and bought MW2 for the RRP?
I also find it funny that Tesco are still trying to sell it for like £42

This Isnt true..

NOT 55£ ... 55$

So if my calculations are correct 55$> £ = £38.0136

So the same price as a normal game..

The article says £55, so I'm sticking with that.

it is £55 coz this was what MW2 rrp was. I think games in america are $60 and I don't think activision of all companies will cheapen their games.
