Yes. This is how serious america's gun problem has got.
A girl ages six accidently shot and killed her two year old brother while playing with their fathers gun at there home in Montgomery City, Missouri,
The bullet first hit the girl in the foot before killing Chase Yordt.
It seems that anyone in America can get hold of a gun, even a 6 year old girl.
Personally i think this is very disturbing. How do you guys feel about America's fire arm problem.
In Britain, you need a licence to own a gun to use for things like shooting and hunting. A few of my friends who work on farms have shot guns and have to keep them in safes, but it seems that in america you can just leave one lying round in your kitchen cubourd.
Whats up with that?

I no, well they should atleast be alot harder to get hold of. Apparently the sell guns in wallmart (American version of Asda)
Imagine walking into asda and buying a gun. It just wouldnt happen!

Ok this is the problem america have:

Police carry guns, i know this sounds normal but its NOT! So people feel the need to have guns 2 be safe themselves! therefore criminals carry guns to shoot back at police etc.....

So then homeowners have guns in case of burglers (its legal to shoot them)
because the burglers themselves are likely to have guns as anyone can get there hands on them e.g the 6 year old girl.

Its ok If You Don't Agree With Me But I Think That Is The ProbLem!

Phew, Thanks 4 reading.

I agree, guns should be rid of. :o
America are very strict with some of their laws, but guns is not part of it.

its the parents fault. if they have a gun and children in the house, they should hide the gun and put in a safe. duh, its only wise.

Yer. Personally i dont think George Bush would care about things like the death of an innocent 2 year old. what money can he make out of that.

People buy De-Activated guns and pay like 1500 quid to get it activated again :l

she probably didn't know what she was doing was wrong. If guns are so popular in America and shes seen her mum and dad with one, she won't know they are wrong. It's not the laws fault, its her parents, they should be educating her about how dangerous they are. Unless she intentionally wanted to kill her brother :s

I dont think a 6 year old can think like that... i duno.
its really strange. maybe she has toy guns and just thought it was another toy.

Yes, in the United States Walmarts do have guns, in Canada Wal-Mart does not have guns.

I believe police should carry guns as it's dangerous for an officer of the law to not carry a weapon that most criminals have access to.

100% the responsibility of the parents and they should be charged with manslaughter for their neglect of the childrens safety.

Just so you know, we hear this all the time in america, and it is aweful. This is the case of every kid who gets shot. :(

Ive noticed this- Parents claim they buy guns to protect their families, but there are more situations where a child dies or gets injured in america due to the gun, than there are situations where they have to use the gun to protect their family.
