Who do you have?

We have the **** away from home, I'm going for a 1-1 draw with Shawcross scoring in the last few minutes of the game :eusa_danc

We drew 0-0 with Swansea last week.

And you'll get MAULED.

Fulham. I have no idea what will happen.

We are in **** form. They lost against Stoke last weekend, and they have the Europa League final to prepare for, and they have no Zamora or Duff I don't think. Plus we are at home and have Arshavin back. Hopefully we should pull a win out the bag but our defence has been so **** recently and Flapianski will **** it up. Spurs should beat Burnley so we could finish 4th.

Wow, I've just realised we have a whole team out injured:

Almunia
Gallas - Djourou - Vermaelen - Gibbs
Song
Denilson - Ramsey
Rosicky - Bendtner - Fabregas

Sunderland at home.

Says something about how much I don't care about the result of this game when all I want to see is how **** the new home kit is. Still, 14th would be nice ;).

We had that this earlier in the season season:

Cudicini
BAE-King-Woodgate-Corluka
Lennon-Jenas-Kranjcar-Rose
Pav-Defoe

Anyway, got Burnley. Hope we get 3rd, unlikely but there's still a chance.

Got Wolves. If the stars align, we have a chance of finishing 10th, but I don't plan on anything.

U-N-I, T-E-D...

Actually you know, now I look at it, Stoke have United, Fulham have Arsenal and Blackburn have Villa. We could easily do it. But it would mean not one of those teams can pick up a point, because if all those teams lose and we win we go 10th on Goal Difference with 3 teams on 47 points.

Not even going to say anything after our last few games. Wouldn't surprise me if we still lost even though we're 2-0 up. Good to see RVP in good form. 2 Goals in the last two games, and a great display against Spurs. If only we had him all season...

CL

Chelsea
United
Arsenal
Spurs

Europa League:

City
Villa
Liverpool

Relegated:

Hull
Burnley
Portsmouth

If that's how it finishes, the only real surprise is 4th place.

Burnley in Europa League if Fulham win it.

Ahah Spurs, 2-0 up and now losing 3-2.

Somehow I get the feeling Wigan won't pull a miraculous comeback against us. Just a guess.

Surely Liverpool ought to be able to topple Hull, even this season

Oh yeah I suppose. Never understood that myself and it's very stupid but oh well. So wait, we will have 5 teams in the Europa League then?

If Fulham win the UEFA I think they qualify for the champions League, and Burnley get UEFA.

FlyingJesus

I thought they get invited back to Europa if they win (because they're obv not qualifying for Champs League) and then Burnley would get it because of the dodgy fair play stats or whatever it is, because all of the teams above them in that are already in Europe somewhere

I'm sure that the Europa League winners don't qualify for the CL. Might be wrong though. Either way, next year should be good for English teams in Europe.

No, Fulham would get into the Europa League regardless, but if they win, it will go to the next best team in the fair play league.

Should Roy Hodgson's side lift the trophy they would qualify as holders next season, meaning Burnley would be in pole position to take any European place allocated through the Fair Play League (http://www.premierleague.com/page/FairPlayTable/0,,12306,00.html).
And if England finishes the season placed third in Uefa's most recent continental fair play table (http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/uefa/KeyTopics/94/78/16/947816_DOWNLOAD.pdf), the Premier League (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/premierleague) would be granted the final additional spot in the Europa League first qualifying round.
With Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea all set to qualify for Europe via their league placing, only Fulham are ahead of the Clarets in the table – with nothing to stop relegated clubs taking up the European place on offer.

Wolves would be below Burnley, then Wigan... Burnley IMO shouldn't be counted as they have been relegated. That would mean Wolves would have been 1 place away from Europe??????? gutted.

Does this mean the PL potentially has NINE teams in Europe next year? if so that's just astonishing and further enhances the argument for the PL being the best league in Europe.

CHA!NGANG

Aye I think we could have 9. If Portsmouth weren't in Admin, we could have had 10.

No, the 8th placed team has Pompey's place.

No, the 8th placed team has Pompey's place.

So we could still have 10 teams then?

City, Villa, Liverpool, Everton, Fulham, Burnley in Europa

Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Spurs in CL

That's only possible if Fulham win the Europa League and if Portsmouth win the FA Cup though right?

I got home at 4am from a 1:15 kick off at Leicester. The joys of being a football supporter. 4 hour kip for school the next day but we won. Happy days.

Everton aren't in it, I meant 7th not 8th lol.

FA cup final result is irrelevant as Chelsea are already in Europe and Pompey are unable to compete. Only if Fulham win will Burnley get that last spot. If Fulham lose, they should be in Europe again anyway.
