I need help on my homework! This is due Monday! So please respond before then...

Only reply if you know the answer to any of the questions...

1) What is the mood of the congregation before the appearance of the Rev. Hooper?

2) Why might one woman imagine, during the procession at the graveyard, that the minister walks "hand in hand" with the dead girl's spirit?

3) In what sense does Hooper now seem dead to others?

4) As Elizabeth stares at the black veil, she begins to comprehend its terrible significance. What revelation does she experience? Why is she suddenly terrified?

5) In what larger sense does hooper feel he is guilty of a crime?

6) Why do you suppose that souls that were in agony for sin felt attracted to Father Hooper and dying sinners cried aloud for Mr. Hooper?

Please help me! Tell me the source were you found the answers. I'll give you a billion hugs/http://habbcrazyforum.net/images/smilies/smile/033102kiss_1_prv.gifes if you help me<3.
