Lol, another good alt. You're brilliant at detailing. I love how the top actually looks like its clinging to her body. The cap is quite cool as :P.

Wowwww thats amazing! I was just wondering if you could give me any tips for shading the hair? Thats what i've found the hardest to do on habbo alts :S

I've noticed that you put so much detail into your alts, they always look amazing. I love the hair on this especially :)

I do like it. However, I feel there should be a shadow under the head - from where the head casts it. and under the trousers, too.

@boonzeet: Since when has habbo lighting been vertical / diagonal? the shading never lands under the face (except for a thin line around the cheek) or under the trousers or it'll just look pillow shaded :S

On topic i think its all nice except for the gap in the had it looks to big if you get me and kind of unrecognised by the shading, but the shirt hair and the rest of the hat are just quite perfect ^^

that is quite possibly the most ignorant, idiotic thing I have ever heard. You don't even know the definition of pillow shaded - it's shading perfectly around the lines. The head, no matter what, should always have a shadow - habbo lighting IS diagonal, it is from the top-left corner. Therefore the gap between the head, neck and hair should have shadows cast on it. But its the same color as the rest of the neck and breast.

show me a single habbo image were they have a shading under the neck? :S it just looks wrong, it makes it look like furniture.

And if it did go round the edges, like on the legs, it would be pillow shading you turd? if you haven't noticed, on skirts etc they use solid lines not dithering, i don't think they use dithering on many clothes. so, it would look pillow shaded, even if its not all the way around.

The detail in that is amazing. You must work really hard to make them that good!

Tanna, I love it but the smile on it is slightly creepy and 'kills' the whole cutesy feeling of it for me, sorry. The shading is immaculate except the slight light dot on the hat, love it. Well done.

I completely agree about the smile - I just thought about it now that you said it :P

And.. I agree that the head SHOULD cast some kind of shadow. But I haven't seen a Habbo with that kind of shadow :)

I think details is the best part of making clothes, so I tend to make maybe too much detailing xD But glad you liked it.

Hey ********, re-read what I said. I didn't say around the edges. See, you're so stupid I even bothered to make an example for you.

http://bb.ohsk.net/uploads/usuck.png

see the difference between shaded and pillow shaded? i said the neck, not the legs. And if you noticed, Tanna used dithering on the clothes. Just because HABBO does it, doesn't mean everyone has to do it? it's called originality.

I'm amazed you call yourself a 'pixel artist', when you can't define Pillow shading.

scroll down to shading. you might learn something.

and i was saying...

if it went under the chin it would also shine under the trousers, and have the same shading across there in habbo style would look like it was pillow shaded.

I dunno why you bothered showing me that example cause i do realise what it means, and on the small example the dithering looks ****.

You need to calm the **** down because when you look at an alt yeah, being unique comes into call, but when its designed around a template that already has the light angle set out for you. So request to add a shadow underneath was in my eyes idiotic, because its not the first thing that'd come to mind finishing an alt when you already know were the light is suppose to hit.

Need i bold any of it for you so you don't nit pick it.

I don't need to nit pick it. It's all useless garbage. "It's my style" or "it's the style of the artwork" is always used a dodge-out for substandard pixel artists.

Tanna isn't substandard, but your way at approaching pixel art is.

i know tanna isn't sub standard, i didn't say she was, but it is basically what is suppose to be done.

Do you want anymore digs at my work , although you feel the need never to comment on them, which to me, is because you can't be negative, because you like being a grumpy little ****.

I didn't comment on them because I've only commented on things from the past few days. If you want your work structurally derailed, gimme a while and I will do.

Just because it's the 'style', doesn't mean its correct. That's always an excuse for lame pixel art.

And FYI, I'm not grumpy, I'm a perfectly happy person. I just tell the truth. If a person who sucked at art was always told they were brilliant, they'd never seek to improve.

And if they quit when they're told they just aren't good enough, then really, they aren't cut out to be an artist.

I don't agree with a person who sucked at pixel art would be put off, on lorrens i think a more c+c and softer approach would have been better, saying its point blank **** was a bit harsh.

Ayyyeeeee but it was too simple - visibly, they didn't really even edit anything, it was a few enlarged habbos and some text-generator text. 3 minutes it'd take to do that.

Hmm.. I don't get it what you're arguing about here.
I don't like these overshaded habbo alts, but I suppose I could make a shadow under the neck if I wanted to. And sorry if I'm getting this all wrong, but I still struggle with my english ;)
