anyways.

hai der lol

i need a headset for my 360 (turtle beach's) and i want the X11's because they're in my budget and from the reviews I've read seem a good deal.

I'm just wondering where can I get one for under £45?

Thanks

I've been looking at these Aled :O Might just go with the XLC's for now, then move onto x41's when money is a little less tighter.

I've got X1's and they do the job - gives you a real edge because you can here the slightest thing from miles away with them whilst playing.

I'm getting the PX21 for my birthday; http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efp21/home.aspx and the cheapest place I could find them is on GAME. Looks like the X11 is on there too for £44.99.

to people that have them, are they actually worth the money? take away the hearing footsteps part, is the chat audio good quality and stuff? my normal headset is really crappy and i've been thinking about upgrading to a pair of these for a while, but if i can't hear my team well then there's not much point imo

there's adjustable volumes for team mates and game play which i believe will come in good use.

so i guess the x11's will come in great value to me

Well my mate has some random pair of headphones which he said cost like 70 quid but they don't even have a mic and when I tried them on COD, it was absolutely awful (my own footsteps sounded like 5 enemies approaching me at once). My brother has a Turtlebeach X1 and it is absolutely fantastic. Separate game and chat volume controls make it an awesome gaming experience. I'm getting the PX21 purely because they only require a single USB cable and the button layout seems better as well as the fact it has no silly sponge cover thing on the mic which always falls off on my brother's.

The only problem is, is that they're all out of stock on Gamestation and Game :(

So? Why fork out loads of £££ for a headset that will probably do just as well against a cheaper one.

As far as i know yeah, i have x41's and they are beautiful.

On the map where u start one side in a carpark and other in a park, i pulled off a 1v3 clutch and last guy was in the attack spawn i hear him moving about (im on the stairs above bridge which is about 20foot away from him, the sound is barely up and i hear vague footsteps so i pull my spas out and sure enough he starts running to me so i look at the hole and bam, dead.

lol.

well im not like yknow the richest guy out there so I think if I was going for any wireless headset it would be the X11.

But with the X11.... how would you connect them to your tv? and do you a NEED to connect them to your tv?

Oleh

I think it comes with cables which connect to your sound cables and you gotta plug the onto end of yours then plug that into tv like that

The wireless headsets have a docking station type thing that connects up to your TV and Xbox and stuff. The station sends out the signal for the headset to pick up.

Is the X11 wireless? I didn't think it was and if it's like the X1, it has a USB cable to the console and a three colour thingy to the TV.

Sorry for double post but....

If I wanted to check that my local retailer had the Turtle Beach's, how would I go about doing that?

I mean I was thinking of HMV because I have like loads of gift cards/vouchers which could really knock down the price.

Any tips/suggestions?

Thnx

They look really over-priced for what's basically just a glorified wireless X1. I'm not even that keen on wireless headsets. I believe most people have bluetooth headsets and my experiences of listening to other people over the PSN have been god damn awful.

The Turtle Beaches will definitely be better than the PS3 mics considering you're paying a lot more for them.

Oh, fair enough. I thought it was just down to the fact it was wireless/bluetooth.
