I know this has been posted before, but the other posts didn't say much so Im going to post the real story. :)

Well, an Airfrance flight from Paris to Toronto crashed in Toronto yesterday but you probably know that. Anyway of the 309 passengers on the flight all 309 passengers and crew survived! Some had minor injuries including a baby who was air-lifted from the scene to a near-by hospital. The plane was landing at the Pearson International Airport in extreamly bad weather. Witnesses say that before the plane touched down they saw it got hit by lightning and passengers on the plane said just before they touched down all the lights went out. Without power the plane had no brakes and as a result the plane overshot the runway by 200 metres and landed in a revine. In 1969 a passenger plane ( Air-Canada ) carrying 102 people overshot that same runway and ended up in the same revine. 2 people died out of the 102 on board. On the Trans-Canada Highway (401) passengers and crew were scene wandering around dazed and confused wondering what happend. Motorists picked them up and took them to hospital. Its a amazing how a plane with so many people had such a bad accident and everyone made it out alive. Somebody needs to be credited for that!

Thats what was on the news!
