I think they want the Habbox name to stay thats why they wont let us change it. Just a guess though.

I haven't done this yet because the pc I'm on is fairly terrible and I'll be back on mine soon anyway, but supposing that images are stored in the same way as avatars (http://www.habboxforum.com/custombgs or something for example) then surely there is, for a dedicated person, a way to find all of the backgrounds being used?

It doesn't get uploaded to habbox. It uses the link you provide. So use a slow website, or a large sized image and the forum will be slow for that person as it fetches it from the site its uploaded to.

Nope :) The images aren't stored at Habbox Forum. Will wait for James to explain properly but I know we don't store them as that was one of the terms of having it.

I didn't steal anything. I agreed with you and suggested the drafted amendment which you could have done also. The announcement could be amended to include you. I am glad that it has been clarified though and great idea to have the winning party announce some of the updates.
