Everyone's read Roald Dahl, right? What are your favourite books by him? I personally love the BFG and The Twits. Brilliant books :D

Ahhh! I've read both of those and I have to agree, god childhood memories. Read them both numerous times :) Haven't for years now though, I'll have to refresh myself, The Twits especially!
I remember first reading the Twits as a class years ago. My teacher was a big fan and she did all the voices etc really well. Was brilliant :D

Matilda :D
God I used to be obsessed with Roald Dahl. Had the BFG, witches, Matilda, Danny the Champion of the world, James and the giant peach, Charlie and the chocolate factory and The great glass elevator on tape. I've probably read Danny the Champion of the world like 20+ times :( Luvs it.

I remember reading Fantastic Mr Fox in year 6. Loved it :D
I loved the films that were made, too. I enjoyed the Witches loads even though when she took off the mask it used to scare me!http://studentpages.scad.edu/%7Ecsimmo23/myspace/myspace%20sidebar/The%20Witches.jpg

That film scared me loads!!! I never read very many and films such as The Witches and Matilda I didn't even realise were based on books by him until I was older. The BFG is the only one I really remember reading.
Something weird happened the other day though; was watching some quiz show and the guy had to answer this very last question with as little clues as possible. He knew it was a writer and the first clue was, 'He worked in a shed at the bottom of his garden' and I somehow immediately thought Roald Dahl. Turned out to be correct but I don't even know anything about him though!

Never read Roald Dahl.
The Whole 19 Yards, I watched it too (H). In fairness that might even be why I posted this thread, lol.
