was it an idea by one of the election parties that once a competition has ended the OP is edited to announce the winner? or did i imagine that? either way, i think its a good idea and it'd be good if it was started

I suggested that in the TRP thread when Inseriousity. replied to the manifesto. He said he was going to do it I think.

i suggest that months ago and i got told that inseriousty didnt like the idea of posting the winner or something :S

I have always been against posting the winner when it's closed because it bumps that competition even though it's closed. This has been suggested by you and many others and so yes, I said no. A solution the Rainbow Party (mostly saurav tbf) came up with was edit the beginning post, that I have no objections to. :)
