Do you know how to cook?

Since I have been at uni I am surprised how many people of my age do not seem to be able to cook at all. I was taught from quite young and can cook most things except for cakes and pastry.

I love cooking. Do you? If so what do you like the best.

My favourite things to make are:

Roast Dinner

Fajitas & salsa

Pizza

Pasta including Spaghetti Bol.

I am a massive fan of Italian food and am therefore pretty good at making pasta dishes! I'm no expert chef but if you asked me too cook something I could have a good go at it and probably be successful.

I can cook quite alot of different things but my best has to be haddock risotto :D

I can do cakes, etc but I wouldn't really consider that "proper cooking"... I'd like to think I'd make quite a good chef but when I actually got all the pots and pans ready, I doubt I'd get anywhere fast :P

Didn't do much at school. Forgot to say 'Cheese on Toast'. Matt Garner has my recipe for that:) Might be simple but yummy!

Er, I can cook something and it will be decent but I can't really cook anything amazing. I'd have to make something a few times before it would be really nice though.

I love cooking anything pasta based & I love baking aswell.

I can cook a little. Not great things. I have done loads of things in cooking in DT. I'm making Rock Cakes on Monday ;). I can do things like pasta and pizza, nothing speical!

I <3 italian food, make pasta from scratch most likely once per week
I would say I am quite successful first time at most recipe's I find :)

I don't really have a wide repertoire but I can cook good pasta dishes with like a nice cheese or tomato sauce, I can make like lasagne and stuff too. My main like wow dishes are fish pie and spinach pie, om nom nom.

my mum used to teach cooking, so shes very good, and i was taught from a young age and so even at 14 i can cook a wide range of dishes!

my fav things to cook are

souffles
spaghetti bolognaise (my mum's fav so she taught me that first :P)
and im not bad at roast dinner aswell :)

Yep, i taught myself the basics and dad has some input too sometimes. I can't cook anything full blown though, but enough for me to survive. I enjoy cooking meat etc.. kangaroo is my fav tbh
