I always do out of curiosity, but recently its been unwanted calls.

Yeah i always do that with sales people, make them go on for ages and then act interested, or speak funny.

I love doing it! I'll be like "yeah, we have the internet" and they start questioning me about it and i'll go "oh, hold on.. its uhh... 28KB/PS... whatever that means!" and they go "wow, thats slow, we have really fast internet blahblahblah"..

Or if they ask about our electricity i'll start saying we have a fat kid riding a bicycle in the backyard :(

Yeah, it's always my mum calling from work.

I'd pick it up but won't greet the caller, I'd wait till whoever is on the other line introduces themselves, if there's silence for 5 seconds I'd hangup.

During the day at home, when the landline phone rings I pick it up and don't say anything, because most of the time it's sales people, school or my nan. I dont want to make that sound like i hate my nan but she goes mental over the phone roaring "WHY THE HELL AREN'T YOU IN COLLEGE, Arron!?"

Erm i answer them depending what they want wether i stay on the phone though! If it's someone I don't want to talk to i just say i'm busy just now :L

Not really, I'm usually scared in case it's the bank or insurance or something weird that I don't wanna talk to.

If it's on my mobile then I answer it due to being my work but for house calls I don't bother. We are ex directory anyway so we don't get a lot of calls majority of the time :)
