Is this Razer Keyboard: http://www.amazon.co.uk/RAZER-LYCOSA-GAMING-KEYBOARD-UK/dp/B0016Q6IMG/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1274303403&sr=8-9 really worth the £50?

What makes it such a good keyboard. Currently I have: http://s7d5.scene7.com/is/image/Staples/s0355731_sc7?$sku$

Basically I have £54 in amazon vouchers and am looking for something to buy :)

Was more of a case (although to be fair I didn't say in the title) would it be worth swapping, or is there any better pc gaming style related things I could put the money towards? :)

Don't really need the controller stuff, but tempted with a gaming mouse ;)

Well, with a mouse, I'd recomend (if you're willing to chip a little more money in);
Logitech G9
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-910-000175-G9-Laser-Mouse/dp/B000T5N1Q6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1274305191&sr=8-1

or a cheaper one
Saitek Cyborg Mouse
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Saitek-PM42-Cyborg-Mouse/dp/B000VLMRVS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1274305257&sr=8-2

EDIT: newer version of http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-910-001153-G9x-Laser-Mouse/dp/B001RQAMIG/ref=dp_ob_image_ce?ie=UTF8&qid=1274305191&sr=8-1

Some say Razer is like Apple in the keyboard/mouse industry. I think they look like quite good products and they stylish, its up to you if you want to spend that much on it though. If you like it, go for it. :P

Personally I am looking for good quality. For fighting games etc, I just want to use the vouchers on something that will be useful, anythin computer based would be great - let's be honest I spend a long time gaming and on my pc ;)

At first glance it really doesn't look worth the money. Spend it on a logitech keyboard, they seem to be universally regarded as the best :)

Get a Logitech G25 or whatever their keyboard is called now, the one with the little screen on xD

Was tempted, however unsure if having a screen really is a bonus :L

Is there anything else computer based that is half decent? I can go above the £54, just not loads more. £100 top price tag. Recently bought new speakers too.

I got a Microsoft Laser Desktop 7000 a few months back for about £55. Why waste so much money on a non-ergonomic keyboard that looks cheap?

Just looked up one of those, and tbf I think that looks really cheap lol. Razer could be a waste of money, but one of he hings you can't hold against it is saying it looks cheap lol. Same with apple, for all the things I have about them, they are very good at designing.

Read my post haha :L

I mean £100 tops for any set or thing half decent. I don't necessarily mean a keyboard. The problem is £54 of the 100 is in amazon vouchers from erm selling pixel related things.

I am using the Lycosa now. Loves it ;)

I even spilt pepsi on it and there is no key sticking at all, no lighting problems, etc.
