so, i've been in a relationship before where a boy has hit me and been violent to me several times.
it's all in the past, fair enough.
but a friend is now with that ex boyfriend, and i warned her what he's like.
and she is now posting facebook status' and stuff making fun of him hitting me, finding it funny.
and if i'm honest it's really hurting me.
obviously he's going to deny it.
he's not enough of a man to admit that he hit me, and get over it.
but it's causing people to pretty much bully me about it.
and it's really the least funny thing ever.
no one knows what it's like to be hit by your boyfriend. untill it's happened to them.
so they shouldn't laugh about it...
even if they doubt that it's true.
it's not always just men who are violent though..
what do you think of violence in relationship?

i think its terrible. relationship should be about love and that, not about violence.
your friend is a total cow tbh. you should tell her to stop and talk to her about it, but dont go easy, go pretty harsh on her.

firstly well done on being open about your past
your freind is really stupid - i'm sure she won't be laughing when he does it to her because frankly if he's done it once hes going to do it again
also ignor the people who are bullying you like you said they don't know what it's like unless they have been though it themselfs

i find that quite sad that people bully you because of that.. thats just lame and pathetic. and i hope your so called friend gets hit too, so then she can feel what its like and then so you can laugh in her face.
hope everything gets better!

Expose the boyfriend for who he is, get some gossip going round or something, he'll surely be ripped on or even beaten up for that.
And your friend? Doesn't sound like much of a friend to me tbh.

he denies it though, seriously, he knows if he admitted it no one would talk to him..
but tbh if he did admit it, i'd have some respect for him.
no she's not a friend, she's just really nasty :/
there's nothing funny about being hit by your boyfriend,
it really messed with your head.
even though it was a while ago, and i have a new boyfriend now and i'm happy - it still hurts me alot.
to know what that guy put me through..
i just don't get how people can find it funny atall..

dont know what you can do tbh.. theres not much you can do. just think of how happy you are now with your new bf & try forget about him.

What I would say is good on you for getting out of it. It proper winds me up when girls just stay in relationships like that. My mate's friend from her halls at uni, her boyfriend (who is a boxer apparently) was being a complete **** so two other mates (both girls) confronted him and he gave one of them a thick lip and slammed the other's head on a table.
The best bit is the girlfriend is still with him after he hit two of her mates :S

If I ever got violent on a girl I'd want someone to punch me right in the face.

She's not really your friend if she bullies you about something like this. You warned her and she didnt listen, her problem.
