So it was PE and we were do Orienteering, people were hiding the cones we were looking for and then I got blamed. I walked away from the teacher because I was fuming. Then she grabbed hold of me shook me. Then my sister came in and said what's happening and then the teacher stopped shaking me. Could I get her sacked?

Well, it's hardly assault... so no.

Gibs960

Grabbing Hold off an 11 year old boy by the arms and shaking him isn't assault? It might not be the worst case but you're not supposed to do that really............

Robbie

Stop crying and forget about it - you walked away from a teacher as they were speaking to you aswell. That's rude mate.

I would say no also. She could be disciplined, but sacked, unlikely. Obviously, she might have done these things before and be on some sort of final warning type thing.

i'd say suspended at max, at the end of the day you're going to get into as much trouble as her

It's people like you that means that teachers have no control now. Just leave it, get over it for Christ sake.

lol man up. "Its not the first time this happened"......if she's shook u before, shake her back! It's like its hurting you, more of an inconvenience. Seriously...

but if its really as bad as u make it out to be, go tell someone, not sure about a sacking but some kind of warning/punishment would be there

21-05-2010, 04:17 PM
tell her not to touch you again like that

and if you really dont like it, tell your parents and they'll see what to do.

but tbh, we have a p.e teacher that throws stuff at us and swears at us and goes up right in our face and starts going sick & hes still working there (bald midget :@)

Hardly.. but she could get into some trouble for laying her hands on a pupil, stop moaning and leave it be.

ecstasy
21-05-2010, 04:39 PM
No, you couldnt get her sacked; she only shook you, its hardly assault. Just confront her about it cause moaning on a forum wont help.

this is how much of a joke it'll turn out to be. but when a student hits a teacher it'll be no where near as bad. grow a pair.

... i actually loled at this thread.
why did you feel the need to forum it?
if it bothers you, tell an adult, not the internet

its not assault, as has been said it is more a simple inconvenience than anything else, just get over it.

You're just rude anyway, you don't walk away when a teacher is talking to you.. that's just plain bad manners.

She wouldn't be sacked, possibly given a warning but that's about it! Maybe talk to your parents about it and see how they handle it?

Please don't be one of those cocky little ***** who say to teachers 'you cant physically touch me, i'll get you sacked', it's pathetic. You was being rude, you deserve a good shaking.

i fully agree. people act like teachers cant do anything to them. bring back the power to hit children and they will all behave. works perfectly well in asians countries.
all these chavs might actually grow a brain cell and start behaving instead of acting like they are some kind of God.

Getting a teacher sacked for shaking you is pathetic. first try and get a proper full time job and see how hard it is, then maybe u will realise how pathetic you are being trying to get the teacher sacked for SHAKING you.

I wouldn't be surprised if you posted this thinking you will look all super cool and that.

why do you ask for peoples opinions then quite clearly go against what people are saying, you have something set in your head already; i can tell.

but no, i agree with the others.

Gibs960
21-05-2010, 07:13 PM
I walked away because I'm sick of gettin blamed for things I've not done then when I tried to state my opinion I get shouted at and told I'm a liar. I asked could she get sacked on the internet because the people I know around me are obviously going to give a one sided answer.

From what I know foy you off here, you probably were involved.

Let's be honest WE ALL say 'I didn't do any of it' but 99% of the time, teachers are not completely stupid.

this is why i can't take you seriously and your point is irrelevant.

if anyone grabbed me and shook me i wouldn't put up with it, the fact she did it after giving you a row shows she wasn't just messing around. i personally wouldn't make a big deal over it because they'd probably win, if she annoys you use it as blackmail like "what you gonna do, grab me again" infront of people if she says something to you.. your sister saw and can be your witness because it IS assault. just rofl @ people who say grow a pair:S

re-read my post. I said getting a job is so hard and he wants to get her fired.

And its obvious no kid wants to be slapped etc by their parents ... :S :S :S but it will teach half of them manners.

It is assault technically, but if we were run by a government who wants kids to grow up s mature adults, hitting the little ***** might teach them a lesson.

Would you try to get a friend suspended for shaking you? I doubt it. I know that a teacher doing it is different but come on..., is it really that bad?
Wether or not you were annoyed at being blamed you should not have turned your back to the teacher, it's just plain rude. Sometimes you have to accept that you did wrong.

Oh and one more thing, I think that the main reason that people are going on at you is because of the ridiculous title you decided to give this thread. It's a very one sided title, it shows you intend to get her sacked and that is just ridiculous, especially given the reasons you stated.

Seems like a bit of an over-reaction to me, at the very most the teacher would be warned for it but to be honest you lack any evidence so nothing will come of it (It's not like you even have an injury).

A good teacher wouldn't shake someone in an attempt to control them, they clearly have issues and cannot control a class properly if they have to resort to that it must be said.

People often wonder why I withdrew from the education course and this plays a major part in it.

Teaching is one of the most stressful jobs and I know quite a few who have been teachers and then decided to quit to to the stress put upon them as they cannot discipline their students in a way to control them.

In answer to your question: No you can't, the teacher may just get a warning like you would if you were to shake someone else around.

One of my dads good friends recently lost there job as some **** claimed he phoned her up and started "chatting her up" sadly because it was her word against his he lost his job and due to that is now unlikely to ever teach again and he's been teaching for 15 years.

So ******* get over someone shaking you, it sounds like you deserve much worse than that anyway.

Mathew

What's most depressing is that the teacher is doing you a favour. Teachers are there to help you succeed in life, so there's not much point in trying to get them sacked. It seems a really petty reason, teacher asks you to stop moving them (which you did anyway) and you got all uptight.

Sacked... my buttocks.
