quick question

so i'm halfway thru france and my ipod ran outta juice, got a cig lighter charger from the car. It says 5v 500ma max usb output and my ipod says 5-30v 1a max. Will this charge my ipod? Dying without it :p thx

Yeah these things are usually pretty flexible. The USB output there is 5V, and the iPod handles 5V-30V? I don't see the problem :P

does it work when its plugged in? If it does you'll have to live with that, seems like its enough to power it but not charge

it turns on but dies half way thru a song. Can't keep it plugged in cos we're using a sat nav. Will get a mains plug tomorrow tho
