Myself, I use Johnsons Holiday Skin & would reccomend it! You can put it on at night withought staining your bed sheets and is clearly visable the next morning

I use Dove Summer Glow. It's really good and it gives you a nice tan instead of making you orange. I see orange people in my school and it just looks horrible.

i do agree with it but i have never used it because i am lucky enough to live somewhere and go on holidays to places where i can get as tanned as i want all the time but i think it can look stupid if it's mid-winter and the sun hasn't been out for months and you look like a tangerine. In the summer go for it or leading up to a holiday where you would look like a massive **** without it on :P!

i use st tropez, it's the besttttt but you gotta put it on and you look dirty then you wash it off after bout 5+ hours
so i do it before bed, but i don't wanna do it lately cos it's too hot

i have a friend that has the same thing that Michael Jackson had, where the pigment is the skin is broken - she's self concious but wouldn't wear fake tan.

i despise fake tan! i am probably the only person who likes being pale out of my friends, i wear loads of sunscreen so that i don't get a tan but unfortunately i always do. i wear sunscreen on my face EVERY day, probably sounds OTT, yet i still have freckles:'(
i got a professional spray tan (diff from the stuff you apply at home, i know) last august for a wedding and have had hyperpigmentation on my neck and shoulders ever since! been using cream for 3 weeks from doctors, not helping.
i wear tinted moisturiser on my face during summer though for sheer coverage, a little colour but most importantly the spf it has ;p

imo pale always looks better than a fake tan.

Fake tan is like other makeup and by principle photoshop. If it's overdone and obvious it's tacky but if done well it makes you look better.

I think it's disgusting. It sticks out like a sore thumb and looks very obviously fake.

Plus, if it's just applied, it smells vile. My girlfriend uses it regularly despite my protests!

I like fake tan when it's done properly. I hate it when you see someone who looks like they've had a swim in a cheesy doritos packet! it comes across as tacky and cheap. They must also think we're complete idiots if they want to fool people into thinking its 'au natural'

Because I am naturally very pale it would look stupid if one day I was pale and the next uber sun-kissed, so I just use Garnier tinted at night time. It's pretty much like the Johnson's and Dove ones that other have mentioned on here, but I've found it doesnt stink as much as they do.

Personally I disagree with fake tan unless the person NEEDS it. The reason for this is I've seen too many people announce that they're wearing/going to wear fake tan which to me, completely defeats the object of fake tan? :S

If it looks natural it can look okay on some girls but the majority of time they just end up looking orange and it looks minging in my opinion. I used to wear fake tan quite a lot but now I loveee being pale it looks so much better and you don't have to put up with the hideous smell if the fake tan either.
