Compensation List Released - UK

Find out what will happen to your Rares after the Habbo.com (http://habbo.com/) relaunch.

We have gone through and analyzed the item values in the five Hotels that are merging, to find out whether there will be any issues. What we're seeing when comparing between the new Big Hotel and the current Hotels, is:

1) Some items will raise in value,
2) Some item values will not change significantly, and
3) Some items will drop in value.

The #1 and #2 type items will not be a problem to anyone, but since we want to keep all our players happy we've created a list of items which will be most likely to drop. For each one of these items, the owner of the item will get a special compensation item, so you might want to keep the item rather than trade it.

(For those technically inclined, the method used to check the change in value is comparing the amount of items of each type that are in circulation in relation to how many active traders exist in each of the current Hotels, versus the final merged Hotel, and calculating the relative change in item scarcity, and applying that change into the recent aftermarket trade value of the item.)

The items that will receive a compensation are all listed below. If your item is not listed, we're expecting its value will roughly stay the same, or even raise in value.

I don't think it's a case of them missing them, I think it's more about them not valuing the rare like they do. It's a pretty good list. If the rare was released on the other hotels, they're not going to compensate you for it, i.e. throne.

Basically, were suppose to be the best hotel, but we're getting compensated the least.

Birthday Fans aren't on when there is only 2 left as far as I know, both Powzaa's.
Black Chair? There is only one on the Uk hotel but almost an unlimited amount on the US hotel, same with the fans.
Other smoke machines? The smoke machine set on US is only worth 5.5hc according to BobbaValues.
I don't see why the MTV trophy is getting compensated, unless, because there is only like 15 on the Uk hotel and a lot on Au,Us whichever they are on.

Was the Britney Mic only released on the UK? If it was it won't get compensated because of that, same with the Bolt of Zeus, and the childline rares?

And I don't see the Green Gate being worth anything? Seriously, they need to realise that things are going down in price instead of using normal furniture that no one care's about.
I'm sure they were trying their best not to make us lose too much, but they are doing the opposite.

Tbh guys even if you do get some compensation from the ones you have that aint on the list, the compensation furni on USA didn't seem to do very well. The gold n black cods were the highest in value at like 450C (90HC) which is nothing compared to the value of most of the rares on this list. Plus if they end up giving out the same compensation furni they'll be much more of it on the bigger hotel and thus it'll be worth less (or worthless :P)

How i think they should have tackled this:

Made about 10 new sets of rares with all recolours (like V7 Rares)
Put a poll on all the hotels and people had to vote their favourite to least favourite of each of the rares.
The rare that came out top favourite should have been given out the least, to the owners of the highest value furni.
Then filter this down through the rest of the people.

This would mean they'd have rares of high demand but of a low supply meaning a much higher value. Rather then just having like 7 pieces of furni that they give to everyone, seems a bit silly. They needed much more compensation furni, so that they could give out much less of one, and much more of another.

Plus i'm not surprised that the throne is not on that list. UK's price is one of the lowest anyway, US (even though bobba values has a low value for it) sell for much more and so does SG, AU released theirs but they have managed to increase up to 100HC. I think the throne value will drop at first but will start to go up again. Tecnically i think throne owners should get something, because many many people own many many thrones and thus even if the throne just dropped by 50HC (or a little less) they will be loosing alot of furni combined.

But there's no way you can please everyone. Plus, hopefully everyone owns a least one rare in bulk that will go up loads for them, to make up for the supers.

So many supers wrecked though :(.

I'm sorry but what about the super flags, New Zealand, Norweign and Argentina. They are like 3C in catalouge of other hotels. There's only like 3 of each on our hotel.

Blue ICM is like 2C on other hotels :/

Black chair also is released on USA as American Idol chair = 5C.

They have not thought this through well what so ever. So many rares missed off. It's obvs they have just used the marketplace to find this. And because most of the supers haven't even been put on the marketplace, they have missed loads of the list. I don't own supers, but i have alot of big casino owners and stuff on my list, and they are not happy what so ever.

2) Does the compensation furni received depend on how much the drop is because I guess the Gold MTV EMA Trophy will go down quite a lot and if I just get the same as for example a 10hc drop, that would just take the mick.

4) Same with Jupiter Smoke, how common is it? I swear no one trades them anymore

I don't really care about values anymore. Ever since the "currency" has been changed from HCs to Credits I have lost interest in trading - it's just not fun anymore. There's too many people out there thinking they're top notch because they have a load of rare "furniture"
Only thing I have of value is a couple of thrones and it seems like they aren't being compensated. When it's possible I'm gonna lose out here, why should I be intrested in trading? :P

I don't think it's been confirmed anywhere, but if it's similar to what happene with CA/USA then it could well be tomorrow. I certainly hope it is, as this has dragged on for a long time now. :P

Another example is the pink mono. Steffnai has the only pink mono in the whole hotel and isn't getting compensated.

The problem is that they don't serve a functional purpose. Why have Thrones held their value so well? They're a 1-square seat. Most rooms have plenty of seats in. People don't just want one Throne as a piece of decoration... they want plenty to serve a functional purpose.

The rarer items should have been given some sort of exclusive drink/item vending machine. There's often at least one of these in every room, and I'm sure users would happily welcome a 'more rare' alternative to what we've currently got. New, exciting teleporters would have gone down a treat. Basically, anything that most users are going to crave more than one version of.

Glorified bird baths don't do it for me.

Find out what our plans are for Rares once the merge is complete.
After analysing the Rare values across the merging Hotels we have come to the following conclusions. Once the Habbo.com merge is complete your Rares will either:
1) Rise in value,
2) The value of your Rares will not change significantly, or
3) Some Rare items will drop in value.
Number one and two will not cause any problems, but to keep Rare owners happy we've created a list of items which will most likely drop in value. For each of the items below, the owner will receive a special compensation piece of Furni. We have listed the name of the compensation Furni next to its associated Rare.
You may want to hold on to the following Rares instead of trading them:
Dino Egg - Ultramarine Sub (those who own a Dino Egg will receive an Ultramarine Sub)
Habbo Turntable - Golden Carp
Silver Elephant - Green Carp
Black Giant Pillow - Green Carp
Romantique Clock - Silver Carp
Habboween Cauldron - Silver Carp
Red Fountain - Red Carp
Violet Laser Gate - Red Carp
White Oriental Screen - Red Carp
Green Powered Fan - Blue Carp
