i didn't tune in and don't have the time of day for him myself but from what i saw in spam he got a lot of people who wouldn't really tune in to tune in. of course, i don't know why he was fired but he's the only dj who would attract different listeners (not the core listener base) so he was gooood in that sense.

Yeh shame too. We had some good times and he was always great as a DJ, even in the past where I've worked as a senior with him. DJs could have learnt a lot from him, as he really made it enjoyable for people who would not normally tune in to tune in.
