after last year i learnt never to lend money to a friend, ever again

a 'good' friend called me and asked me for 150 euro cos he was in drug trouble and i said noooo cos it was so much money, then eventually 3 of us gave 50 each cos it was getting out of control
none of us ever got it back and we aint mates anymore cos of it

oh... but i'd lend small amounts... and to my brother/sister

I don't mind lending close friends and family money because I know they'll pay it back. Apart from my brother, he's an exception :P

My sisters always borrowing £40 for nights out and things (I only lend if I know I'm not going to spend in the near future), I usually get it back after about a week but I have to remind her :(

My friends have never asked but I would lend to close ones providing it was for a good cause and there's a realistic chance of them paying me back, and I wouldn't ask for interest.

Often lend money to my sisters, and charge them 10% interest if they don't pay back within 2 days.

Some of my mates will only bring money for whatever we plan to do so if we do other stuff I always rather pay for them than just have everyone go home lol

I do lend money, but i also get lended it often too.
Only cold hearted *******s try to get interest, which apart from being illegal is totally unfair. You lend because you either trust them or have it written off as a loss.

I can borrow upto £400 a month off my sister, she knows she'll get it back the same month. Please don't ask how on earth i can borrow that much!

is she a prostitute or is it drug money? :P

I tend to do the lending to my dad, the only person i really give money to. I think he is about $600 bucks in debt atm? he had to buy a coffee machine =/

I'll lend it to them if they forget lunch or something at school. Other than that, they are on their own.
