I'm sure we've all asked inappropriate questions as children, popular ones are "why is that woman so fat?" "why does that man have white hair?" "what's sex"

what's the best way to answer inappropriate questions? ignore them? truth or what

tell them really basic and short, then distract them

Once I was shopping in ASDA with my younger brother who looked at a fat man who was confined to a wheelchair (he didn't appear disabled or anything and I am quite sure he was in the wheelchair simply because he was obese). My brother walked up to him and said "why are you so fat?" and I was just mortified. I grabbed him and whisked him away and just pretended it never happened lolol.
