Two questions; Are we guaranteed beta access and also I've changed my username since the "secret test / feedback thing", is that a problem? Old username was DUBSTEP.

All users that request access are guarenteed to be part of our closed BETA. There is no contest for places here!

The selected few that were part of our initial preview(s) will be given access roughly one to two weeks before our public BETA. At the same time, the winner of our Amazing Thursday competition will also be given access early. Whilst we don't like to make promises on dates, because as with any large project such as this small problems can cause release times to move around considerably, we can guarantee you'll be online before anybody else. We will, however ensure that the client you see is as close to, if not the finished version of Kazopark, as opposed to the current Alpha build where all 360 items and 60 clothing items are still being tested.

Further to this, once our BETA opens on July 12th everybody that wishes to access Kazopark, will be able to.

You say the winner of the Thursday competition, yet we can't enter it without a username? :S

We released a fix last night to remove the requirement for a username for the initial Amazing Thursday - You should just need to provide an email address and an answer to be able to enter.

Update 15:00: Apparently the fix didn't go live last night - It should be resolved within the hour.

I have just been informed that the fix is now live and you should be able to enter Amazing Thursday without a username.

After our midnight backups (PDT) an update will be pushed enabling Amazing Thursday to be entered once again.

We'd like to appologise for the time it took to resolve this issue.

Every new project/website has teething problems. At least they are working and fixing them pretty quick. ;)

There not problems, it shoulnt of been put onto the net if it had problems with its competitions to start with.

That's what alpha/beta is for. Finding bugs and issues that will make the final product polished.

That's for public testing, seeing as it's just a competition page it should of been blatantly obvious when putting it together - usernames should of been sending off alarm bells. However, it would be completely wrong to assume that this minor error would be the be all and end all of the franchise :P
