I suggest CuteNews or RadiPanel which has a news system built-in.

Could always go for wordpress, it's pretty easy to manipulate.

After seeing recent threads regarding CuteNews, I'd rather stay away from it.
As for RadiPanel, I'd rather a system which is only based on news.

Could always go for wordpress, it's pretty easy to manipulate.
May try it out.
