Basically i bought a £30 nokia today from carphone warehouse and it came with a sim with £20 on.
I use the credit to buy habbo creds ^.^:L (The phone was bought on vodafone)
But when i put in my old vodafone simcard (which is PAYM) it comes up as "Sim card registration failed" ive tried it with an orange sim monthly card and it doesn't do that and gets full signal?

Any help?

Usually this means the phone is blacklisted, but I had this problem on T-Mobile and an N95 we had (which deffo wasn't blacklisted), you should ring up Vodafone about it, seeing as it is their phone and their sim, they should be able to sort you out.

You'd need to call vodafone on 191 to take issue with it. You may not have topped up within 3months and they deactivated it. Or sometimes your sim can just deactivate for no reason at all. I seen an old man lose over £100 on credit because he never topped up in a year, or use his credit.

Sometimes there's no explanation. Kick up fuss with them, complain. They may give you complimentary credit ;).
