Size of the phonebook now :O

We got a new phone book the other day and I just looked at it. It is literally half the size of the old phone book. Everything is listed the same, same sizes everything. There's even a few more pages such as customer support.

That's quite a lot of people who've possibly gone ex-directory :P

I don't know why there's phonebooks anymore. A lot of people use internet enabled smartphones, and then there's always internet phonebooks.

The only people I know who still use phone books are my grandparents who aren't in touch with modern day technology

You've also got a huge increase in the use of directory enquiries and endless adverts for them!

you should have to request them, hardly anyone uses them now.
