UPDATE:
A Habbo.com Moderator came into Habbox Help Desk earlier and informed us that the bans issued were incorrect. You are now, or at least should be, able to discuss Habbox.com freely on Habbo without getting banned. However, please do not flood the Habbox name - as this will result in a ban as the site may be mistaken for a scam site.

So to clarify, you are free to discuss Habbox, advertise it in your room names and point members toward it. But please do not spam the Habbox name around the hotel pointlessly, as this will result in a ban!
The problem was, newer Moderators are not familiar with UK fansites and were therefore banning on the assumption Habbox was a scam site. So feel free to talk about Habbox from now on!

As you will know, the UK Hotel merged with Habbo's new flagship hotel Habbo.com, yesterday. Since then, there appears to have been some confusion as to what fansites are official and which are not.
For now, Habbo appear to be taking the stance that only previous US official fansites remain official, and are banning anyone advertising any other site under the pretence that they are "scam sites". To clarify, Habbox is not a scam site and was originally an official Habbo UK fansite!
Until this issue is clarified by Habbo or Sulake, Habbox Management advise you not to promote Habbox.com on the new Hotel so as to avoid getting yourself banned. If you have been banned already, we apologise sincerely and encourage you to use the Help Tool to appeal your ban.
