Habbox ~ still official?

So, this means that Habbox is no longer official.

The response we are getting is varied. It seems no one actually knows. Habbox is no longer an official UK fansite, because Habbo UK no longer exists. However we hope to clarify this in the near future with regard to Habbo.com :).

But the banning unofficial fansites is a Habbo USA rule.. which doesn't exist either :)

You can't have a fansite for a site that no longer exists :P. As of now, we are taking the view that we are unofficial as per the fact we are not on the official group list. We will wait and see what happens when the fansite relaunch begins and we will go from there.

According to the Moderator I spoke to, the bans that are issued for saying "Habbox" are unfair and inconvenient and will therefore be lifted upon appeal.

Habbo have the BBCode URL tags, which if you enter Google (http://google.com) it will not work. If you do Habbox (http://habbox.com) it will work. That's how you determine an official fansite :)

All we know right now is that they are doing a fansite relaunch - we will have to wait and see what happens but rest assured we will be pressing either way to have our official status returned to us :).

Personally I don't think we have a problem, seeing how many bans our users have got from advertising us.

Clearly people have confidence ;)

Gold tier won't matter. I found out today that the staff don't even have a full list of all the origional official fansites :)

They don't know as I've been speaking to the SG hotel manager Doelee in the past couple of days and she told me none of the details have been worked out yet.
