I cannot get my head around why we are still getting banned?
Surely the upper people at Sulake (involved with habbo) would have told moderators all the 'safe' sites by now?
It's mad - like the longest serving and busiest habbo fansite getting people banned for talking about it?!

They should have known this before the merge. -.-'

It's pathetic. The merge is a joke, they haven't informed the pathetic new moderators anything!
I sent in an email to what used to be the hotel manager on Habbo SG, and now works on this merged site explaining what has been happening. Hopefully there will be some response soon :).

It's not hard to enter habbox.com then clearly see it isn't a 'scam site'.
Mass banning sprees happening. :(

The MOD that came in HxHD yesterday explained that there are a lot of new moderators that are unsure about what websites are actually safe, obviously they're not going to check theselves so they have to ban instead.
I'm sure this will be sorted soon, but until then he said it's best if we don't flood Habbox.com

As I thought back when it was announced, there would be some small silly thing which they've forgotten to consider and it will make a load of things go wrong - and that's exactly what's happened.

if it was down to them to go ahead with the merge, they should have took the correct procedures to keep people safe & fair
It was against the USA rules to advertise unoffical fansites.... simple really

We know that but we are no longer "USA", we should be an International English speaking hotel or whatever they want to call it. This should of been cleared up before the merge took place and the moderators informed on what to do, not to start banning or closing rooms due to the Habbox name.

We have been informed by varying sources that we are allowed to have rooms under the Habbox name and discuss Habbox too. The problem is that those who aren't familiar with it believe it could be unsafe and therefore ban it. Unofficial or not, for now, Habbox is fine to discuss on Habbo and any bans or room closures that occur as a result of this are unfair and should be appealed using the correct channels where they will be resolved.
I would encourage people to continue talking about Habbox as normal. This is the only way we can assure that more and more Moderators become aware it is fine to discuss it. I feel that after the issues of this morning and yesterday it will begin to get better. But you are allowed to discuss Habbox.

Meh, the merger is a sign that Habbo cannot be doing too well, so I barely care :P
Either way, Habbo UK, US and SG (or any other website/group of staff) should of had a pre-merger meeting or plan, where they shared what each hotel disallows and allows, including any websites affiliated with each fansite. It's amazing they think Habbox is a bad site, seeing as they appear to have a guilty until innocent view on how to run their online community :/
EDIT: Has anyone talked to whoever is the Moderator Chieftain? I suggest showing them fire, that's usually a good ice-breaker for these lesser-people :P
