I am so looking forward to this it's unreal, I love MGS so much, hell, my first username on here was Sol!dSnake haha. I haven't played MGS4, but I've read the plot on wikipedia, and the MGS wikia and stuff, but I hope this game kinda provides a bit of the story.

I don't think it will as Kojima said peacewalker was "the real sequel", rising is more of a spinoff I think. Also you should get mgs4. If you havnt got a ps3 you should get one.

Yeah I release like Rising won't be a true sequel, but I'd like to see some sort of explanation, new people coming into the series are gonna be confused. MGS4 is the only game I want to play on PS3, and I can't really justify £250 just to play one game

Im sure you could find more games, or find a cheap pre owned ps3 :P
Yeah there was a picture with the crying wolf in it, raiden riding her (lol). As far as I'm aware it's at e3.
Peacewalker Is set In the 1970s, so noway Is that a sequel to MGS4, LOL.
Rising will be a prequel aswell, It'll most likely tell us the story of how Raiden ended up with the exoskeleton suit. Theres a number of different things they could pull off, a few things mentioned In some MGS4 cutscenes can't be Ignored. Kojima works In weird unpredictable ways though.

I'm guessing Peacewalker is meant to help bridge the gap between MGS3 and MGS1. BUT HOLY ******* ****. I just watched the trailer on E3 and my lord it looks beautiful
