Ok, well am 15. When I was 4, I moved from a small town called Atherstone to Blackpool, if you want to look it up its quite a long car journey, about 3 hours.

Anyway, just today I came back from visiting my grandma in Atherstone, and me and my brother stopped there for 2 weeks while my mum and dad were in spain.

In these 2 weeks, I visisted all the rest of my family. Aunty, Cousins, Great Grandparents. I became really close to my two little cousins, Bradley, 6 and Abbie, 3, and I think they are just simply amazing.

Which brings me to the main point, I want to move back home, I consider Atherstone home. My Mum and Dad will never move back though, So I was thinking that I should finish school, as I have exactly 1 year left, and ask to live with my Grandma in Atherstone and visit my parents regularly. I would get a job in Atherstone and provide my Grandma with money if she needed it or wanted it for my stay, rent etc, when I have a job. i would save up for driving lessons so then I could drive down and see my parents every so often. I would be able to visit the rest of my family alot more, and my cousins which I have bonded with alot. There both so cute its amazing http://www.clubhabboforum.net/images/smilies/emoticon_smile.png

I live with my 5 brothers and parents, so would be leaving all this behind. My youngest brother is 8, 9 if I decide to go. I also have the problem of getting a job, as its a small town. Call me whatever you like, but I do not want to go to college and will not. I would not be able to travel to work as I have no means of getting there.

What does anybody else think about it?

Sounds a plan but I think you should give it 2-3 weeks to think about it first at the very least. You've only just got back so you're most likely still full of the happy memories there, leave it a few weeks and see if the "happiness" has wore off from Atherstone, you may also come to appreciate the company of your siblings/parents once again when you begin spending more time with them, and maybe even appreciate Blackpool during the next few weeks.

If after a couple of weeks though you still feel as you do now it's probably worth raising it with your parents and grandma and seeing what can be done, just don't rush it that's all.

Yeah i think you should put a bit more thought into it, but if its something you feel you really want to do you should definately pursue. Come 16 you may have changed your mind, or your love for Atherstone may have become stronger, you will only know when the make or break time comes. Its easy to say you want to do something in a while, but when it comes to the final decision you may have second thoughts.

Also, your mother will NOT take kindly to you moving in with your gran by choice. Believe me, I've done so.

hmm it sounds good but what kind of job you going to get? surely you don't wanna find yourself in a really bad paying dead end job at 16? you got the rest of your life for that.

I understand where you are coming from, but people are different. I would explain that I wont to be close to family, its where i consider home etc..

If you are honestly serious about doing this then all I can say really is go for it, it's your life and it goes too quickly for you to worry what others think.

However, saying this you need to take your parents feelings into consideration. I don't know what your relationship with them is like, but they might get a bit defensive if you tell them you want to live with your nan rather than them. You may not mean it in the way it comes across, but they might get the wrong idea.

Furthermore, perhaps before you jump ship you should maybe spend a period of time down there. It's all fair and well spending time with your family, and having a lovely time but it can be a totally different when you try to live there. You need to see whats it's like when the 'honeymoon period' wears off and you have to live there with a new job around new people. It may be your home town but having to get a new job with new people can be hard regardless of whether you live there or not.
