Recently got a hooky download of iPhone OS 4.0 and installed it on my 3G and I have to say, it's rubbish. If the phone wasn't slow, sluggish and lethargic enough on 3.1.3 then this is worse. The features are all very well, I really rather like the new wallpapers and the option to put apps in folders but really, I've officially now declared my phone as "****". It's a bit like putting Windows 7 on an old computer that came with Windows 3.1.
Neither can I be bothered with the hassle of downgrading again, so I'll just have to make do. Makes me want my iPhone 4 even more now! Dunno if I can wait til the 24th :(

Maybe you should wait for the final build, it might be a bit better.

He was complaining about how slow his iPhone was and how he was fed up of it, I provided a solution that also happens to be a better alternative. :)

It is the final build - I believe there have been versions named "Beta 1" etc but this is the full on production version.
And if you can find me a way to run Android on an iPhone 4 then I'm all ears

Well duh, do you expect Apple to make things backward compatible and future-proof their products? :P
And someone was running a version of Android 2.2 (Froyo) on a iPhone at one point, but that might be the new iPhone. A good idea I suppose :P
