The vuvuzelas in the World Cup have enraged many fans. For this competition, you need to invent an alternative instrument for the World Cup fans to use! It shouldn't be an instrument that already exists although you can use elements of them to create the ultimate football instrument! Post your entry in the thread! Good luck!

Skiddo - A harmonica styled instrument that you push your fingers into each hole to make a amplified "squidge" sound (like the fart but more tasteful). Tunes can be produced and they come in a variety of colours. These are great for making a statement about your team!

My instrument would be a simple one indeed, a magnificently simple design indeed.

It would appear to be a tube entering into a wooden box. -Le Gasp-
A tube in a wooden box?

But alas, you blow into the box, through the tube, and doing so forces the lid on the box to open................
REVEALING A COCKATIEL!

A cockatiel trained to hum well known football chants. :D

Glassical Music - This instrument will be made of very fragile, lead crystal glass and will have an engraved image on the whole instrument. There will be long, thin, circular glass, different sizes & colours, filled with different amounts of water. If you blow onto the glass, it will release a soft, humming sound thats calming. And if you hit the top with your fingers, it will create an echo. However, thats not the only interesting thing about this instrument!

The light from the Sun, will be used to light the different colours of the glass to form a rainbow & the whole stadium will be filled with multi-coloured rainbows!

The Supporters Band

A drum with rice in and it will have strings on the bottom of it to make a guitar noise - a hermonica on 1 side of the handle/strap thing and a piano main version on the other side - on the drum at the side there will be some pipes and next to them will be a massive air horn...

it will be very noisy n loud - it will also be portable obviously and have a drink holder on it :)

The Regnorsenthia - This innovative new instrument combines the glories of 'easy use' and 'elequent sound'. Imprinted into your provided headset lies a synthiser, which when detecting a certain set of soundwaves produces a different sound, via headphones, depending on what the wearer selects. So, for you golden oldies Vindaloo can be heard as Beethoven's fourth symphony, but to the more lively of football fans, out comes James Corden and Dizzie Rascals " Shout For England " . Users at home simply press red and the broadcaster will automaticly convert the sound to the selected tune. Ahh, but what makes the sound I hear you ask, it all likes in the Regnor, or noise maker. This input device requires no more than a brisk wave of the arm to create a noise. This noise is inaudiable without the required headsets, giving players the quiet they require. But wait, this isn't all, once the Regnorsenthia detects the countries national anthem it broadcasts it to the players via underpitch vibrations, so they can feel thier fans cheering them on. Music isn't for you? Then silence, is what you get...

This instrument will consist of the same materials as to billy mays vocal cords. It will Have Iron, Steel, & an amplifiere. It will be in the shape of Chuck Norises Chin and when you blow into it you will hear in a Booming Voice "ORANGE GLOW" there are also many other noises you can input like "SHAMWOW" or "BUY IT NOW" all in the same pitch as a 6 foot Bigfoot screaming from steping in a bear trap with Cow Dung in its mouth.

Allordiona

The Allordiona is a Spanish instrument a lot like the French "Accordian". It would be typically used at festivals and celebrations. The Allordiona is not the same as the Accordian though. It has several pipes out of the side used to make different noises and a piano like object at the other side. Pushing keys on the piano like object makes a sound. Top - high pitch, Bottom - low pitch. At the top are several strings that can be used.
The instrument is played by pushing the keys with your left hand and plucking strings with your right hand.

You can play a large variety of songs with the Allordiona.

Gazotype

Well this instrument is used the same as a whistle.

You blow into it.

It makes the noise of a sneeze therefore the name GazoType which is what people would normally say.

Well it is small so you can carry it around with you anywere you go and its in the shape of a nose :)

Chicken drumset

The chicken is used as a drum where you'll hit it with the chicken drumsticks so it'll make a loud hollow noise.

Teeth Tunes
My instrument would send shockwaves to your teeth to losen them. The instrument can also detect when that tooth is being hit. So you would use your tongue so hit your teeth, which in turn would create a beat. You would be able to change the sound on a controler connected to the machine on your teeth. The machine would also link up to a mini amplifier so you could share your teeth tunes with everyone! :D

Turtle Drum

A turtle's shell seems like the perfect drum which I'm guessing would make a nice sound when you hit the top with a drumstick. Something tells me the turtle wouldn't enjoy being hit on the back with a drumstick, but maybe it would enjoy watching the world cup games.. :)

Disclaimer: I do not endorse the cruelty (including hitting) to turtles or any other animals for that matter.

Stands for "The Crazy Frog Machine" requires a frog, a helmet, coffee and stay awake tablets:eusa_dancFirst, you wait until kick off, than give place the helmet onto the frogs head. After this has been done, give the frog coffee and stay awake tablets. These mixed together create the frog to go absolutely crazy, bouncing around the stadium making the infamous "Crazy Frog" noice. The helmet acts a relocating device where it will automatically come back to you at the end of the game (yn)
