it's all a bit regimented

I'd rather it looks regimented than untidy :)
idk if anybody else would
just looks like you haven't really made much of an effort into making it look niceand would rather it look really tidy coz imo that makes it crap and unrealistic

Sorry you feel that way but your the only one who has said anything negative about it. Its called diverse life, A jungle village, a forest hut and two different designs of areas to sit and talk. The room is split into three sections. This is why I don't like large rooms cos without zooming in you can't see detail, the screenshot doesn't show the far side that well (the jungle area), how else would you do a forest in these days when forests are re-planted usually a single species is used and they are planted at regular intervals, as for the seating area's well their designs are done on symmetry as a lot of people do

it's not clear what the room theme acctually is and it all seems a little flat, i think some stacking would improve it loads

tl;dr
you need to calm down...
the right side looks nice up to a point but then it's just all square and poop

if you thought you room was that good (which you clearly do) then you wouldn't have posted
i engourage you not to post rooms again if you don't want to be faced with constructive critisism that will upset you

That isn’t exactly great constructive criticism, its all about other people's opinions.

I can assure you I was quite calm when I wrote this, all I was doing was justifying why I had done certain areas of a room in that style.
I agree that it can be improved and that’s why I posted it on here, but there has only been one real piece of constructive criticism and that came from Special saying that the room is flat and stacking would improve it and I agree with that.
Im not trying to argue with you here:)
You're asking for others' opinions but only taking those that you completely agree with on board. This is ridiculous.
Your room looks crap. That's my opinion. I can be constructive if you really like but I doubt it'll be any good since you'll end up contradicting everything I say with some stupid comment like 'I prefer it this way though'... All about others' opinions? Pish posh. Who cares about others when I'm the only gr8 room designer on thisforum. u clearly havent seen my ethiopia room x

Like I said im not going to argue with you, I have better ways of spending my time. There is nothing wrong with your opinion I accepted it but I didn't find it useful so I explained myself to why I had designed the room in that way with the hope that you could maybe have a small chance of understanding why I made it in that way. Its a bold statement saying your the only good room designer on this forum, link me your Ethiopia room please :)
Ok Ill Add an opinion in to "diversify" from Kyle and Special
I Really Cant Believe that He was the first one to say something Negative About it, because it is truly terrible, Why? i may hear you ask, well...
The Main Problem is Most of the furniture doesn't work with the rest of it, For example the Pods, The Penguins, The Lodge, the Lava Lamps the Holos - All of those Look ridiculous in their section
If those Tea Makers are meant to be houses, Take out the tiger statue and definatly those Volcano Flowers, Because they have no need to be there
Should have done this room in a regular 416 tiled Rectangle room, because then you wouldn't have that ugly Black gap and a floating Hut.
Honestly it appears to me that you've just thrown Any odd furniture you found in your hand down without thinking about what the room is actually about.
Seriously if you want to improve it, Tear it down and start again, but this time re-think it, Because if thats meant to be a village, you have Totally Failed.
Theres My Opinion (And I'm Sure its a Lot of other Opinions too, Most just don't have the guts to say it)
(Also Kyle's Ethopia Room is a Great room, as it is an Ironic Statement to show what the country is like)

I really like the room actually, not all rooms have to have a specific theme, remember that everyone has their own tastes. It reminds me somewhat of the old style pre-2003 rooms being somewhat random.
Oh and you're not the only great room designer on this forum, I have seen many fantastic rooms posted on here. Only a egotistical, self-centred and sad individual would claim that.. have a little humility?
Oh, and well done complex!
yeah it reminds me of pre-2003 rooms too - aside from the fact that it's made with new furni and the design is awful and it's not pre-2003.
i am the best u cant deny it

hi catzsy *+*+*kisses+*+*+*
OP, I'm sticking by what I said about your room being regimented - it is. Sorry about my 'rude' replies but I was in a hurry and pretty goddamn tired. If you want a proper... What should I call it... examination? inquiry? scrutiny? Of your room, then here goes. If you don't, you don't have to read it but I'd prefer not to come across as a total arse by criticising your room and not offering my pr0 room designer tips.
Let's go back to the rather strict layout of the room. Why's it like this? In my opinion, themed rooms shouldn't look entirely orderly. Makes them look crap, like no effort has gone into them or something.
The forest area with the beanstalk starts off good (minus those big blue plants and the spider on the bridge...) but then it just links to... Well... Nothing. Some trees floating in mid-air and some growing out of pavement? You've even got a floating hut. I know you want it do be diverse but that's just plain weird.
I get what you're trying to do with the little sections on the left side of the room but, again, it just doesn't work. The way each section is boxed off from one another (see what I mean by regimented?) is plain awful. Try making them flow into each other more smoothly without making them so square. Posters on walls make next to no sense. Penguins and cupids in the lodge area look to me like you've seen them in your hand and though "oh, I'll just put these in the room somewhere..."
My advice... Next time you want to make a 'diverse' room, don't make it so boring like most other rooms people post on here.

i think its just too much tbh, and the same furni is repeated over and over again, needs something different if you get what i mean

When I first looked at it, I thought it was a storage tbh. I think its mainly because of how crowded it is in the middle.
I can see what you've done there, i like all of it except the forest bit. Seems a bit...linear. Try and mix that up a bit and change it n see how it looks

The winter area is particularly unstructured and untidy.
