FANSITE DETAILS:
First of all, we want to extend our sincerest apologies to the Official Fansite owners that were banned over the past week for promoting their sites on .COM. We are all very sorry. It will not happen again, and all bans have been overturned.
Since we wanted to keep all the Fansites that had official status already, we ended up with quite a long list. Seing as we didn't want to make any cuts to the list, some changes had to be made in other ways:
* Since we are moving away from having a small list of Official Fansites, towards a long list of Fansites, we will no longer be able to endorse Fansites with articles and prizes.
* Fansites listed on the Fansite Group Page (http://www.habbo.com/groups/fansites), will be able to promote their own sites freely on our website and in the Hotel.
* We aim to grow the list of Fansites within the next month or so, at which point we will post an article on how you can submit a site that is not already on the list.

Secondly, people fail to realise that selling VIP has nothing to do with being official or being unofficial. You have to follow the fansite rules and in return Habbo let you use their images which are copyrighted.

I think it's kinda an extended apology to us, as it seems the banning issue was centered around Habbox. So by putting us at the top of the list they are making up from what they have done.

I think after a while 'Official Fansites' will come back. They will compile this huge list of Fansites and then get us to vote who we think is the best to become the official ones.

I am extremely glad they have addressed this issue and it's very nice of them to extend a public apology to those affected by the banning issue - it's very unlike the Habbo (UK) we knew to do such a thing and I think it shows a great progress in terms of staffing attitude that has come with the merge :).
