Birthdays :)

It's very easy for us to filter the birthdays displayed for the active members only.

If there is enough interest in this I will reintroduce this.

It could go in "Today's Events", or it could have its own section which could be hidden if someone didn't care, mind you that might make it look really cluttered.

there's already a field on it on the profile, I would guess if they hadn't entered this then it would be impossible to post their birthday anyway :P

Nice little idea, don't know if I posted in your earlier thread (probably not tbh) but it's a nice little feature especially if it can be filtered out to only include active members :)

yeh but that wouldnt work would it? you cant give them vip or donator as it would be given out too often but maybe a badge or something which lasts a week?

I've no idea where you got VIP and Donor from out of what I said?
Also there would be no point having it for a week and it would probably have to be removed manually so you would either have them or not.

I don't like the idea of a birthday award - the awards should always be Habbox acheivements.

My biggest issues with this is that from my experience of looking at profiles on ACP is that a lot of users enter false DOBs.

Perhaps they will look at it more if birthdays get added :). Further to this I know quite a lot of people take a quick look at the "Who's Online" area and generally you will catch a glimpse at the "Today's Events" sections if you do this.

Didn't we used to have this or was it only for VIPs on our magic calendar? Been VIP for so long I forget what the PEASANTS can actually see and do.

Ha, this reminds me of back in the day when I was really paranoid of revealing my birthday for fear of getting my Habbo reverted - may be the reason for the all the false DOBs you see Oli. :P

After viewing the poll results I've decided that we will go ahead and do this, I've looked into it on ACP and I can only see how to enable it per usergroup therefore I shall speak to Jin about what he had in mind last time around and shall ensure this is implemented in the next couple of weeks.
