My friend was all excited the other day about this dream she had which gave her an awesome idea for a movie - Pokémon in a similar style to Avatar but aimed at our generation (those of us who were around when Pokémon first took off and have since grown up but still miss it :P).
Sounded like an awesome idea but just before she showed me something that she came across since which pretty much burst her bubble because it seems like somebody already thought of it. Well, someone did write about it here; http://pokedream.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14283 but you'll realise the funny side to this story if you read the first response to the thread in that link and then check the time stamp on the original post. Turns out somebody (threat starter in link) did think of pretty much the same idea BUT it was only for an April Fools joke!
I still think it's a great idea for a film though and I know plenty of people who would definitely agree. Wouldn't have posted it only that it's already out there anyway as you can see. So waddaya think? :P
