Graphics Department

What I have always seen here is that the Graphics department never get any recognition for their amazing work.

We see so many graphics in managers signatures and around the site/forum but they rarely get thanked, so just wanted to say well done for your amazing work! The Big Brother graphics they made are really good - and in general most graphics they make are great.

They're the hidden gem of Habbox and deserve many thanks that they don't always get! I've never been disappointed with a graphic yet and it's quite exciting opening a PM to see what you've requested brought to life... hmm okay overkill but thank you graphics department :D

I disagree, don't think the content designers (boy, that's a tough job) and the side coders get praised enough either.

Indeed they don't! Also people like Yoshi and Brandon go without praise quiet often. Well done to all of them and the graphics department, they do do a wonderful job!

I have been extremely pleased with the standard of the graphics I have requested recently :) Especially the awards and the Big Brother graphics.

I've just requested a task which I am interested to see how it'll come out as it's an interesting task - which reminds me I have other graphics to request too.

Yeah I agree. They all do extremely good work but not enough praise. The GFX department do some fantastic work and I'm sure that will also continue with Myke controlling them and making sure tasks are done and what not.

Couldn't agree more. I've never been disappointed with a graphic either (and I mean everywhere, not just the comps department) and they do a fantastic job. Myke has a fantastic team and he is certainly a fantastic manager :D.

I also agree that Content Designers or Site Coders get enough praise. They all do wonderful jobs and I want to congratulate them on how well they all do!

I think it's kind of hard as people never actually know who makes stuff. I know Jamesy makes skins, so nobody ever actually gets told what the gfx department has made.

Yeah maybe do a thread with or a page on the site with the graphics and who made it (after the graphics has been made public).

I would agree with this, they do put a lot of effort in, and they along with content designers don't get enough recognition imo.
I remember when I was graphics staff, and a few of my graphics were used, including a forum banner, there was no mention of moi, in a 'what do you think of the new banner' thread. It's a shame, but I'm sure the current graphics staff will get their recognition in the future after this thread.

They do do a brilliant job, and I am always impressed with the quality of their work, for example the recently created awards which were done to an excellent standard. Well done to the GFX team!
