You will probably have noticed a new advertisement appearing at the top of your screen when you enter a Habbo room lately. Not to worry, it's nothing to be afraid of, you can remove it by clicking the "close" button - easy as that!

Is that all it advertises? The ad box is just blank for me, but I assumed it would be promoted items, such as the DVD for Percy Jackson, etc.

Well, it's not just the ads. It's things like credit tax, over prices furni etc..

If they start to put too many ads, it'll put people off. I mean, look at myspace.

I haven't got any yet, wooo! I guess they look a bit better than the old ones that appeared when loading rooms, but still rather annoying for some people I guess. They don't look too bad really, more fresher feel.

Yes they're a business and they want to make money, but they should consider user experience too. I haven't seen any ads yet but I could only imagine them being wicked annoying.

If they knew how to market something then we wouldn't be in this over cutting spending and taking our creds tbh. I mean it makes no sense to advertise on capri-sun boxes tbh. They should sell skull pillows and stuff :L

I've seen ads on the logout page before, at least on some other hotels such as the US hotel (when it was just US).
