View Full Version : I'm gettin' sick of my school!

Every time I get blamed for somethin' I've not done, I try and state my opinion, because as my mum has said to several teachers, I'm getting to the age where I want an opinion, but every time someone doesn't agree with a teacher (expresses their views on the situation) you have to miss your breaktime because you've "answered back". It's so stupid, fair enough if you answer them back really angrily, but I just stated my opinion, then I have to miss my break.... pathetic :(
LOL Mate, you think thats bad?
Try being the only one thrown off a 7 day trip to France just because you have asperges. :)

i think weve had this discussion before...
obviously your opinions are coming across to the teacher as rude, and if you keep missing your beloved break they maybe you should just stop stating them.
i would wait until after the lesson or w/e and politely have a chat to the teacher about what happened, its always better than doing it at the scene ;)

I don't try and come across as rude but every time you say anything to a teacher its "answering back", pathetic. Every time I try and talk to a teacher about the incident afterwards the teacher always says, "what's done is done."

Don't know why you think your different, everyone does it, if you answer a teacher back in almost every school there are consiquences. It's not worth getting into to trouble becuase you want to get your say in there, it's not worth it.
Inseriousity.

sorry to break it to you but youve got all of secondary to go as well :p
I'll assume you're putting your hand up? If not, you should.
I'll assume you're not butting in halfway through the teacher talking? If not, you should wait.
I'll assume that when she says 'stop answering back', you say 'sorry' and keep your head down instead of going in all guns ablazing.
If you're still losing break after all that then there's nothing you really can do tbh. It's just one of those teachers who are there going through the motions rather than to open your minds further. All you can do is keep your opinions to yourself and then say them later to someone who will listen properly like your mum. That way, you get to keep your break, say your opinion and have some discussion with your parents :)

Its when I'm in the playground, I like miss the rest of my break, I wouldn't mind if this rule was regularly enforced, but it's a selected few that the teachers don't like because we have the dreaded P word....... Personality :@

thb school is like a game - just do what the teachers say. of course you can like and dislike who you want but don't show it. i didn't like a lot of teachers when i was at school but i just did what they said and all was good
if you really dislike them, when you have lessons with them just don't say a word unless asked to then you can't go wrong :)

OT: Just keep opinions to yourself, through life you meet some ignorant people, and you'll hate them, but just take no notice of them and move on with life. :/

teachers are like russians with no vodka in their veins
but srsly i agree with whoever went "school is like a game" because it is, just imagine ur playing cod and shoot her. dw shell respawn
but srsly i do agree with that statement because you have to play your cards right, its what i do and teachers love me even if i was to answer them back they wouldnt really care tbh. but im so cool i never get in trouble anyway, even if i do something wrong which is generally when this douchebag thinks its funny to either pretend im hitting them or generally pretend im doing something wrong.
This is common with most guys at school :S
Just don't get too clever in your answers and you're cool, that way they can't accuse you of answering back but just stating your opinion :)

This used to happen to me too. Its funny because at School I used to get told off for it and at College I get praised for it for "contributing to class discussion". Just get passed school and you'll be fine ;)

it's school. you're the student, they're the teacher. you should be entitled to your opinion but they will still punish. happened at my school tons, just don't go and they get the message. it doesn't escalate because they know you can pull any card to the teacher they take it too.

You're not at school to give an opinion. You're there to sit down, shut up and learn. Teachers have to come in to work every day and solve problems that they really don't give a crap about and are probably small and pointless so why would they want to know your opinion on anything :S They have to treat everyone with equal respect or w.e and this doesn't happen alot of the time but if you wanna go and moan about it then you're gonna be the one losing your lunch/ break.
You just get over it. You obviously play your face if something big's happened and they're threating your place at the school but any other time you just move on..

Doesn't work like that in school really does it? You play your mouth of and normally end up getting in **** for it.. Unless your parents are there. Then it's a different story..

It seems two people in here have very bad schools (Teachers), then...
I'm not a teachers pet but I'm entitled to my opinion every single time, as long as my hand is stuck up then it's fine...
Oh, apart from that time I thought Harald Hardraada took over New York, then it was a different story... :/

not if it appears rude to a teacher, which obviously it does.

If you want to speak up about something you've got to be prepared to miss something because of it, if what you are speaking up about is worth it then you wont mind missing your break as you'll know you are right and they/the teacher is wrong. If that isnt the case, maybe tone it down a bit.
