as your mum:

"is there anything i can do to earn £10/20 cause i'm quite busy!"

and she might give you some trivial jobs and youll get the money

bad idea, if i say that she will literally have a list consiting of 20 jobs and i've already done quite alot to be fair

tell your mom that your dad told you to ask her for money
do opposite for your dad

=

2x money

Try the "muuuuuuuum" or "daaaaaaaaad"

I'm finding this hard to answer because I don't know the relationship you hold with your parents but would coming out with the question for money directly be a good/bad idea? Sometimes being straight with your mum or dad is the best thing and it's going to be relatively obvious that you're going out for a night on the town when the time actually comes, isn't it?

You could always try getting a part-time job or borrowing money from a friend with the promise of paying it back if the first method flops.

i have a really good relationship with both parents, they both live at home and they would give me money withought me asking but the thing is i need it now and im 'shy' to ask them because i feel rude. when i ask, i would tell them exatly what i'm doing i wouldn't lie or anything, i'd just say i need it for town & for a party

i'm going to get a job when i've started college (i'm 16 in august & would like minimum wage) and i'd never borrow money because asking mates for money is even worse than asking friends for money lol +rep :)

It sounds like a good, respected relationship to me and so I wouldn't hazard lieing to your parents. Just be brave and pop the question and if it's a no don't fret too much, you'll have more nights out in the future!

@College: I'm currently sixteen and I recently passed a six month course at college. I am now waiting for my September start in NC Health & Social care but I must say the only thing I can 'earn' as such in college is education maintenance allowance & a bursary which isn't a great deal! Good luck getting a job these days because it's bloody torture, +REP returned.

EDIT: Must spread!:P

What and she never does anything? :P

Goooood redeemed yourself lol, can't stand people who just expect everything from their parents for nothing. tbh your best bet is asking if you can borrow some money and that you'll pay them back, obv works better if you actually have a job or something but still it shows that you've got good intentions and aren't just taking advantage

Maybe you can tell them you're going out?
If I ask my mum for some money so I can go shopping by myself she doesn't usually agree, but when I'm going out with my friends and she knows she'll give me lots of money to shop.
