Here's my appeal..

"I have just been permanently banned on the account named Prebbo for supposedly giving links to scam sites.

I believe you have accidently banned me,

A habbo came in to the room and started spamming about a habbo dice rigger,
So i reported him with an EXACT quote of what he said (in quotation marks) , followed by "-Scam site!"

Next thing i know im banned for advertising scam sites, which i wasn't, i was reporting him via the help tool, and never said ANYTHING in the room about the site."

I mean, I try to help, and I get permanently banned?
Forget me reporting again...

They never read anything properly, I got perm banned (appealed of course) for saying something about how to make money irl, and they thought I was on about selling habbo for rl. And this was BEFORE mergery.

In future just say 'X is advertising a potential scam site' or something similar, that way scenarios like this shouldn't occur again.

I know, and I never said anything in the room about it either...

This truly sucks, and I've got no reply, sent appeal on Sunday. :l

They rarely seem to read the CFH's properly at first. Had to send mine like three times before they replied to what I actually said. Gl getting unpermed, I'm sure you will :):)

you told me about this in the client the other day! you will get unbanned, providing if the customer support they offer is good.

it makes you wonder how Moderators who permanent ban people for something ridiculously uncalled for have a job because this is by far from 'professional'. If only the forum moderators on this forum could be Habbo MODs...

I agree, but then again they will always have the last word,
So i'm sure habbo will never investigate into all the mysterious bans,
As its a waste of their time,

Not to mention a huge waste of ours.

They operate as a corperation ( Sulake Corp. ) so they should need to follow industry rules, which I am sure they are not, by banning thier customers without even looking at what they type. -rep to Sulake.

They seriously need to start reading the "Call for helps" properly or people will become apathetic.

You'll get unbanned no problem just time it takes to get it due to the backlog of requests. Don't expect an apology either, thats one thing habbo doesn't do.

They took 7 days to reply to my email after the merge. Before that it was less than 24 hours.

Wonderful

It's not really unbelievable with the singaporean (mostly?) MOD's now, is it... lol

Well if they can't distinguish a genuine report from an offensive one,
They shouldn't be MOD's, as they can't understand the English Language.

yup which makes it pretty believable that they'd make such stupid and careless mistakes.

UNBANNED!

Hi there

I'm very sorry you have experienced poor moderation service on this occasion. It does appear that the moderator in question misread the Call for Help you sent entirely and assumed you were advertising scam sites rather than reporting them.

I have lifted the ban and apologise for the inconvenience caused.

I was saying sorry, instead of saying "what?"

I don't understand how you think i've 'frame'd it

He means you should put it in a picture frame and hang it on your wall as Habbo staff rarely ever apologise.

The staff need to listen, and read appeals properly.
