Merging your account

K, basically i had an account ages ago and i've managed to dig it up and get the password for it. Now when i tried to merge it, it kept saying the security code was wrong when it was clearly not and now it says i have to wait til later to do so. So im just wondering how long that is and what the problem is with the security code crap.

For users who have Habbo ID's on more than one Habbo Hotel site, you may encounter problems while activating your characters if your Habbo ID's have different passwords. To solve this issue, please perform the following steps to reset your passwords on both sites:

Navigate to https://www.habbo.com/account/password/forgot
Enter your email address in the "Forgotten Your Habbo ID Password?" section and click "Request password email"
Check your inbox for an email "Change your password" from habbohotel.com
Click the given link in the email to change your password
Complete the "Reset your password" page - Important: REMEMBER YOUR NEW PASSWORD EXACTLY as you will use it again soon
Then visit your old Habbo Hotel site (e.g. http://habbo.co.uk or http://habbo.com.au)
Click "Activate my existing account"
Click "I forgot my password/username"
Complete steps 2-5 again using the SAME password that you set on Habbo.com
Navigate to your old Habbo Hotel site one more time and perform your account activation as usual
