Pros - Pretty safe, can't say there's ever been any incidents or I ever feel threatened. Enormous park very close to where I live which hardly anyone uses which is quite nice. Buses to both Nottingham & Derby come at regular intervals and it's quite close to school. The environment in general is alright, it's not really that run down or trashy thankfully.
Cons - Quite a distance from a train station. Difficult to get to nearby towns surprisingly, they usually require long walks which is irritating when seeing friends and the girlfriend. There's not all that much to do around here either.
wales
pros: sheep
cons: sheep
Inseriousity.

Pros - People are mostly friendly, we're quite proud of where we come from, close to towns and countryside so a nice mix of urban/rural things happening.
Cons - Seems to waste money on really stupid things (temenos - picture below of what it is LOL), hard to get jobs in north-east.

pros: it's safe, i've never felt unsafe. we're surrounded by fields and i think we take the area for granted.
cons: i think the nearest train station is 28 miles away, so transport isn't the best. a lot of poles as well.
Pros
Green roundabout thing right outside my house, used to play football on it
Loads of ppl my age on my road
Near a load of buses going everywhere
Newsagents really close
3 parks really close
cons
no trains really closeby
pretty dangerous area (crazy ppl, muggings and violence (guns etc.) isnt a rare thing).

Pros: Out of the way from the city centre but it's only a bus away if wanted.
Cons: Immigration central. An overwhelming number of immigrants here, wouldn't be bad if half of them weren't always spitting and hanging around in gangs.

Cons - Gangs? :S
My Street
Pros - Quiet, Friendly, No Traffic, Big Field To Walk Dogs, Surrounded By Trees/Privacy

Stay across the road from the bus station, easy to get to Glasgow, Edinburgh or even Belfast.
Prestwick airport is like two/three miles away.
Chip shop/ice cream shop across the road from me.
Cons -
Ridiculously busy outside my house at weekends, especially in the summer.
Quite hard to get parking spaces.
Church a few doors along, so can never get a parking space on a Sunday.

well of course not everyone is a jerk, but honestly its pretty hard to say that its not the meanest of the states, and ive been to most of them. i also work at a company where i make phone calls to people all over the country, and new york consistently has the meanest people i talk to. tennessee is probably the nicest haha.
yeah new york is fun but honestly if you're young, id say go to boston if you want to visit a cool american city. its not as big but i feel like the architecture is prettier and the city itself is so much more relaxed, and half the population is under the age of 23. but i understand that new york is the ultimate destination
