Playing at a Club for the first time

Hey! Some of you may have read about me and my friend (we play back to back) being asked to play at Fenchurch Cardiff. We played the set and people enjoyed it, it was a great experience. We have now been asked by a local club, Clwb Ifor Bach (Cardiff), to play. They have even made us special arrangements to get us into the club as we are under 18, which is pretty cool!

Unfortunately they said our friends can't come in :( because the 18+ age restriction remains, they are just making an exception as we will be DJing. I'm pretty hyped about the event and looking forward to it.

That sounds good. I wanted to get into DJing but I don't know where to start lol. I downloaded Virtual Dj though :P Good luck in the club, they might ask you to come back. Are you getting paid and if so, how much ?

No, I'm not getting paid as we are doing a few months of free bookings to get some real practice in a club environment and also to get our reputation up in our local area. I've been told by a DJ friend that playing in a club is like re-learning all the basic stuff, oh dear!

Thanks Crazed. Looking really forward to it. I've got a party today, a set to do 8:00 tomorrow evening and also now 12:30 tomorrow (or should I say in two days time)!
